This is the best time to purchase whilst it’s on offer. The colour is sooo goood!! And no problem with the battery life I genuinely liked the colour and the comfort!!

One of the best gaming controllers you’ll come across in my opinion. This is a generation where the controllers transformed gameplay, it’s a shame that the games haven’t. I’ve always preferred the feel of the PlayStation style over other consoles and this is no different. I find it comfortable to hold even over prolonged periods. Everything is perfect on the buttons. The D-pad feels great, although I do think it’s the worst aspect but this is more of a testament to the other features. The analogue triggers are fantastic, the bumper buttons are comfortable and responsive, the face buttons feel good under the thumb and I find the analogue thumbsticks more accurate than other consoles. The haptic feedback and adaptive triggers are actual game changers here and that’s a phrase I find often overused but not on this occasion in my opinion. They’re transformative, allowing for great features especially in FPS titles. The touchpad is, well, there. Occasionally you’ll find it properly used but mainly for last generation games sadly. All is not perfect however, I have two gripes with this controller. One is the battery life, it’s okay but it’s not as long as I’d like, however later models do seem to last longer and if you have a charging dock it shouldn’t be much of a problem. My biggest gripe is joystick drift, this is now my third Ps5 controller and I’m not happy. However, the last two were the first models, there’s been at least two since then that I know of and it’s apparently been fixed. So far so good for me but I’ll need longer to know, my last went for around 6 months before going and I keep my controllers spotless, I’ve also had quite literally over a hundred different controllers and this is the first time it’s happened to me, even my ps3 controllers are going strong. I think at the price this is unacceptable and really puts a downer on it. All in all though, this is by far the best controller there is, offering so much more than anything else, from a touchpad, adaptive triggers, a speaker, haptic feedback and the touchpad also being able to be used as two separate buttons, more in a very select few titles. It’s hard to imagine what else can be added and I feel this puts Sony firmly in the lead in controller technology. As for the colour, I got the red and I love it.

Great and easy to set up and in a beautiful colour

I like using gyro controls in games and find this controller to have the smoothest gyro support of all my controllers. I was never a fan of the older PlayStation controllers but this one feels very comfortable to use. My main complaint would be that battery life is pretty poor and I have to charge it each day, unlike most of my other controllers. Also, this does not have hall effect sticks so at some point it will suffer from stick drift and I will have to either replace it or fit some 3rd-party hall-effect sticks to it. Regardless, this is the first controller I reach for now and I would fix it or buy another when it finally succumbs to its fate.

Considerando il prezzo, il DualSense Rosso Cosmico è davvero stupendo: offre molto più di un semplice controller, giustificando pienamente l’investimento grazie alla qualità costruttiva e alle innovazioni tecnologiche. L’unica vera pecca resta il noto problema del drift degli analogici, che può colpire alcuni controller nel tempo. È un aspetto che non si può ignorare e che si spera non si manifesti in modo precoce. Detto questo, nel complesso il DualSense rimane un controller eccellente, bello da vedere e straordinario da usare, capace di valorizzare al massimo l’esperienza su PlayStation 5.
