Easy fix to a wine cooler. Would buy again if needed.

Was exact replacement for OEM
Checked resistance on compressor terminals. Checked out ok.Determined existing PTC relay was bad. Ordered replacement using part # on PTC. Was exact replacement. Plugged in along with new overload as it cycled overload several times. To protect compressor. Started up and pulled down to temperature within 2 hours

Very easy to replace!
Our medium sized fridge, in the smaller refrigerators, is what we are using until we can get a full size fridge. I was so relieved when we realized we could fix it for a low price!

Saved Magic Chef Cooler
My 10 years-old Magic Chef beverage cooler stopped working. After a quick troubleshooting I found that the PTC was open, ~400 ohm rather that <10 ohm for a good one. This PTC worked perfectly.
