Is there a installation manual? My package arrived without one

A folded instruction sheet. Check YouTube sometimes people assemble there. It's pretty easy. I'm a senior lady and I did it.

does the bottom of this have stoppers ? will it slide and fall if i place it on hardwood ?

No stoppers on bottom. Just wood. After u place items on it, its heavy so bottom does not slide on my wood floors. But if i bump into it the top slides. If u have kids y can anchor it to wall up top.

How tall is the space between shelves? is this sturdy enough to act as a lego display case? (think the kid version hogwarts castle, a space shuttle)

The unit I have we use for just that reason . The shelves measure 13 inches between each shelf and my grandson has it loaded up with all his LEGO projects and as yet have not found any too large. Very pleased with the shelf unit . We have two and find them very sturdy. I recommend them highly.
