Gateway to youth sports!
These balls are amazing, they have been used in hundreds of hours of dodgeball.Amazing for long Midwest winters when you are stuck indoors and your kids are driving you crazy. They can throw these at each other for hours and no one gets hurt. Your walls don’t get beat up and they make very little noise. But, beware, theses balls are the gateway to youth sports. If you give your kid a ball they will fall in love with sports. If they fall in love with sports they will ask to play youth sports. If you let them play youth sports your dream of sleeping in on weekends when the kids get a little older will be put on hold for a solid decade. On another note buy the book, “If you give a cat a cupcake.”Also, youth sports families are wicked fun so buy the balls, prepare for youth sports and nap when you can, totally worth it! You won’t regret buying these!

Initial Reaction is Very Positive
I purchased these 6" balls as a less expensive alternative to the larger 8.25" ones, which can range from $20-$35 each. As an avid dodgeball player, my initial reaction to this set is very positive. The foam is firm and the skin tightly wrapped, exactly what you want to see. As many other reviewers mentioned, the true test will come with how well these hold up after regular use in our league. I'll update in a few months, but if first impressions count for anything, I'm very happy with the value this set offers.UPDATE 7/21/14: I've had this set for a little over a year and am preparing to purchase another as a replacement. I've been extremely happy with the durability of the balls, but after more frequent/steady use in the past 6 months (once a week as opposed to every two weeks) most of the balls have developed small chips and begun to lose their firmness. If you take care of them, these balls should easily give you 8-12 months of weekly play, which is not bad for an investment of ~$60.

Dodge balls of Glory.
Do you like throwing Balls at people? I know I do and these are the best balls you can throw at someone. First of all they are made in Sweden and they make really good pancakes, just ask that chef puppet from the muppets. The best thing about these suckers is that you can hit someone in the face. Sure it doesn't feel great but it doesn't sting that bad, especially compared to your "classic dodgeball". I throw these dodge balls at middle schoolers all the time and they hardly ever cry unless I happen to hit them point blank in the face with all my might (on accident of course.) You really can't go wrong with these guys unless you chew on them with your teeth, if you do that they won't last very long. The only reason I give them 4 instead of 5 stars is because they are stinking expensive but keep in mind they weren't made in a sweat shop so you can at least have the peace of mind that someone got paid a decent wage to make these balls of fury.

Dodgeball: How to Make Kids Cry Without Jail Time
I bought these for a church ministry. My friend was a youth pastor and I would help him out during all-nighters. Many games and activities would be on the docket, but one game was always the favorite. What was the game de jour you ask? Dodgeball.Dodgeball provides that sacred time whereby the kids try to show you who is boss. Sure, you feign a lack of athletic ability...at first. Once you elevate their egos and the associated pride, then you turn on the Billy Madison switch. Remember last month when little Johnny was acting up all morning and he would not listen to reason? Boom! Head shot. That time when Sarah kept back-talking...Pow! Small of the back. When Daniel LaRusso beat you in the local Karate tournament? Sweep the leg!The Rhino Skins allow you to assert your dominance over the lesser people known as youths. When these dodgeballs hit the target, they will hurt a person's pride, but they will not leave a bruise (well, maybe psychologically).

Great dodgeballs
We ordered the 8 in and they were a little too big for Elementary school kids hands, so we ordered the 6 in and those were the perfect size! Good quality worth the price!

Family fun little ball for water polo.
Has a nice shell, good weight, and soft to use for a family friendly game of water polo. It won’t hurt the kids! Just don’t leave it in the pool overnight as it does slowly soak water in, but no issues with soaking water if using it in the pool for a couple of hours.

a house friendly, baby and toddler friendly indoor ball
My almost 3 year old is obsessed with balls, we have purchased many balls in the last 2&1/2years and I now review them regularly. I found these lightweight, soft dodgeballs to be a necessity when I had my second child. He needed to be protected from golf balls, football's, rubber bouncy balls, basketballs, even soft nerd foam balls were not an option due to biting. My toddler absolutely loves throwing balls and these are fine if they hit my baby on occasion. My baby could care less if he gets a direct hit to the face. If you allow indoor ball play, and you have a toddler, or even older children, these are great! My other great ball for indoors is a neoprene covered blue and red soccer ball I found on Amazon too. So light weight and soft. Again, the baby doesn't care if he gets hit in the head with that one either.
