both cameras were DOA
Bought two of these to add to my home video surveillance system. They were a good price and the right fit for the areas I need to monitor. I unpackaged the two units and set them up on my workbench for testing. They both powered on and took IP addresses from my DHCP server. I had previously run the CAT5 so I installed both in their respective location and connected them to the pretested cable runs. When I returned to the house I could see on the POE switch that neither had even reported Layer 2 connectivity. Retested everything up to the camera and took a test camera to the same location and it worked. Same issue with other unit. BOTH CAMERAS FAILED WITH AN HOUR OF UNPACKING. Hard fails. I would not buy them again and sure would not tell you to buy them.
