Drawing & Painting Cats: Wild and domestic cats in watercolour, acrylic, ink, pastel and pencil

A great gift for my Dad! We both love to paint, and he always wanted a step-by-step guide to painting wild cats. This one is perfect, it shows you how to sketch and use different media.

The illustrations in this "how-to" painting book are really nice - the author obviously loves his cats. I really appreciate all the time the author took with his drawings and choices of watercolors. Would recommend to anyone who loves cats and would like to paint them.

AS AN ARTIST I LOVE BOOKS LIKE THIS ONE..I CAN STILL LEARN SO MUCH FROM SUCH BOOKS.. EXCELLENT LOVE IT..

This a great and good detail book. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in art.

This is the first Kindle I've ever returned for a refund. The author seems to have produced a great book, but the Kindle formatting is so incompetent that it is almost unreadable! It is a facsimile (so not searchable), and the publisher couldn't even be bothered to split it into separate pages. As a result the Kindle display is 2 pages per spread, which makes it impossible to read the text and images together. Incredibly amateurish!

I see lots of 5 star reviews for this book, but I find it virtually useless to learn sketching and drawing cats. It might have some merit if you already have some technique and can pick up a couple of ideas.

I am very pleased with the content of the book, helpful with drawing of big and domestic cats. I'm sure my drawings will improve.

Very disappointed! The format is wrong! There are two pages on one page! I wish I could get my money back! But with kindle it is not possible to get a refund! Wish I had read before buying I would have bought the paper book for a couple of $ more!

Good clear examples of different cat types and clear instructions and guidance on the use of different mediums and techniques to use when drawing or painting cats.

A very inspiring book, the second by this great painter. A very good layout and clear step by step projects in a variety of mediums.
