TFY Universal Car Headrest Mount Holder with Angle- Adjustable Holding Clamp for Swivel Screen Portable DVD Players, Black

I took a gamble buying this product as I have those sporty "all in one seat and headrests" , which don't have the two bars for regular dvd player brackets (in my case Nextbase 9 inch dvd player). It's a simple and effective arrangement; a wide, elasticated, velcro backed strap and two wire frame holders with velcro backing. The strap fits around and through the headrest hole (see photos) and then the wire frame holders are velcroed in place to accommodate the player (its strong velcro and its very secure). Through design ingenuity, the top wire frame holder has a hinge so the screen can be tilted down for shorter viewers - brilliantly simple. Very impressed and pleased with my purchase!

Does the job very well

I'm not one for reviews usually but this product is fantastic! Our kids have just moved from rear to front facing car seats and some plonk (me) broke the bracket to their in car DVD players (oops). Spoke to manufacturer of the DVD players and quoted £45 each to replace - no chance so searching for something to replace and came across this product. It's great and no horrible, plastic bracket to break (yay) and so very easy to install. These holders fitted perfectly to my wife's Ford CMax head rests.

Product works well but the velcro on the main part needs to be bigger especially for 10" dvd players as only just fits on.

Basic info about the install: 2014 Toyota Sequoia, Driver's Seat Sylvania DVD/Blu-ray 10.1" Player (Dual Screen) Install took about 15 minutes I had initially ordered organizer mats for the two front seats, which were supposed to hold 10" screens. Unfortunately, due to the thickness of our portable DVD players, they did not fit. You can see in my last picture the secondary screen fits, but pulls the organizer in. The main screen didn't fit at all. So... I searched again for a different product that would potentially fit these bigger devices, and I found this adjustable headrest mount. I was disappointed to see that for the price point, it only comes with one set of brackets, but ordered one to see if it would at least fit the main screen. As you can see in pics, it fits great. The directions were easy to follow with detailed description, as well as pictures. I followed directions exactly and had zero issues installing. There are reviews that complain about the velcro space not being large enough. In the directions, it clearly states that the top adjustable piece does not need to be completely on the velcro. It is heavy duty velcro and held our DVD player in nice and sturdy. It is the perfect piece to be able to adjust for a shorter or taller passenger to get the right angle. For our family, our 12 year old daughter sits in this particular seat, so I adjusted it accordingly. I am very happy with this product and I will be waiting for a deal on it to buy a second one for the other screen. I decided to keep the organizers anyway, because the kids are using them for storage of headphones and such. I am also able to tuck all the wires behind the organizer, which keeps the kids from tripping over them!

Velcro is not wide enough. 3 more inches of velcro and I could have used this. The distance between the top and bottom holding clamps was too wide to attach to the Velcro securely. (See photos). I even tried using the alternate mounting method. Plus the upper mounting bracket was too large for my 9 in RCA DVD player. Definitely not secure enough for something that can be a projectile during a crash.
