Works well and good value for money
Easy to install, and the 10W level of illumination is perfect for my front garden, without lighting up the whole street. The reason I have only given it 4 stars is that I believe the cable would benefit from being just another 100mm longer to make installation ideal, and the sensor (even when adjusted to the fullest range) does not pick up movement from the specified 8m (in my case about 6.5m) but apart from those 2 minor niggles, it’s a very good product. Arrived next day delivery from the supplier as advertised.

Flickering light source...very irritating.
While these exterior lights appear to be wonderful value, it is for a very good reason, it seems. They do not last very long. I bought THREE for a variety of locations, and the one nearest the house (and probably the one which switches on and off most frequently) has been flickering for about a week now, and I am mightily sick of it. It's almost as it they have a self-destruct mode which kicks in about two years after installation - judging by the number of customers who have mentioned similar or identical lapses of time. It's all a bit of a shame really. Someone had all the right ideas about proofing against weather, spot-on with the light panel type (or is it?), and all the other criteria...ease of attachment, paint choice, packaging....so much to consider. Yet, if the "bulb" doesn't last more than two years, it's really no better than many other lamps, and a lot worse than many also.

What I needed
I wanted to illuminate my front path and steps and had had an issue with a solar powered light I tried, when the weather wasn't bright enough over several days to keep it charged, and came across these lights in my search. At first I wondered if they would be bright enough, being rated at only 20W, but since other reviews said they were OK I decided to go ahead and ordered two. They are indeed plenty bright enough and besides adjusting the angle of the light you can also alter the sensor sensitivity and angle, length of time the light is on for and the degree of light before it's triggered. In spite of the adjustability of the sensor position and angle of the light I did find it quite tricky to get it to perform just as I wanted it to but got there in the end after many trial and error sessions. Can't comment on its durability and weatherproofing but it seems to be very sturdy, being all in one piece in aluminium, and providing the factory sealing of the power lead is good it should last well. My previous mains light from a different supplier didn't last too long as water was able to get inside! Edit 13/4/24: I originally gave this product 5 stars. However, I discovered after three months that one of the two I bought wasn't working properly with only half the LEDs working. Not very good durability. I contacted the seller via Amazon who responded really quickly with an offer to either refund or replace. I opted for one replacement and advised accordingly. Then I waited. Nothing happened though Easter was in the middle so I expected some delay. Still no contact or replacement so I emailed them direct on the 10th April but still no response. Make of that what you will but I shan't be putting any more business their way unless they resolve things pretty quickly.

It didn’t impress me much!!!
Due to a wait for an electrician to connect the light, it was only installed today, unfortunately the motion sensor was faulty. The quality of the lamp itself seems okay, though the fixing bracket is less than sturdy, again that is my opinion. Installing the light was very simple and it was ready to be connected when the electrician arrived, but the sensor seemed to be very temperamental when tested by the electrician and then ceased to function . If not for the faulty sensor I may have given it 4 stars, but I have generously given it 3 stars. I have purchased Lepro lights before with no problem, so I will put this down to bad quality control. Value for money….. at this moment I have to say No!! I will be returning it tomorrow.
