Master Lock M530XTLH Magnum Solid Steel Keyed Alike Padlocks, 1-Pack, 2-Count

I've had good luck with Master Lock padlocks over the years and tend to stick with what works for me. I needed this specific shackle diameter to work with the chains I already have. This set of padlocks only comes with 2 keys. Since time immemorial, keyed-alike sets have come with 2 keys per lock. Also, the "packaging" they come in is a thick plastic card with molded blocks that fit around the lock. There's no easy way to get the locks out. I used a pair of pliers to twist the plastic parts until they broke off. What a pain in the butt! Won't dock a star b/c the locks themselves seem to be of good quality. Just have a pair of pliers handy if you buy these.

I needed to lock up the black storage bins with yellow lids (like from Costco or Home Depot). These are strong locks and the shackle is just the right length to go on the edge of the lid. Shorter locks are not long enough. Smooth opening and locking with the key.

Freezing rain on these locks and they open with ease. These are the best lock for the money. Never buy locks made in China where you can’t get duplicate keys made.

Great locks, only 2 keys usually you get 2 keys with each lock. Well built. I would give it 5 Stars if it had 4 keys.

I needed some locks for gates and sheds. These with a long shackle worked well. Just one shed had to have the hole drilled to fit the lock's shackle size. We have had these for several months, now, and they have not started to rust and still look new. As so far they look weather resistant over the old locks we had. Now we have locks that use all the same key, and that makes it easier to open.

I puchased this lock set with the assumption of high Master Lock quality. The first set received, one of the locks literally fell apart during shipping with the loose parts in the packaging. The replacement set appeared to be good out of the packaging, locked my overland two lock storage locker, traveled to Colorado Rockies. Went to open the lock, parts were on the truck bed floor, while still locked. Had to put to barrel back into the opening and was able to unlock. I would have been absolutely screwed if it did not open. My heart racing as we were offroading in the mountains and this locker had critical supplies and recovery gear. The other locked opened fine. Going with Brinks All Weather lock this time. Perhaps you will have better luck than me, but I suggest not risking it. This "Master" locks model made in China are junk, not sure about the other Master lock model quality. Good luck!

I had same lock model but was only one lock and two keys, it became rusty after a few years, but I loved the lock so much I searched and found this, which is a great deal, you get 4 high quality locks that are strong and keyed alike so there is no hunting for the right key. I am glad I got this lock. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a lock that they can trust and will take a beating.

Locks are very strong and sturdy. Came with two keys that unlocked all 4 locks very easily. Operation of the lock mechanism is very smooth.

Completely rusted closed after 6 months outside. Now need some bolt cutters. Useless.
