Review: I have to disagree with the reviewer who thought this was a waste of paper. We bought a number of Sanger's books as a way to introduce our child to other food cultures. It hasn't really taken yet but my child is 16 months. So all food is still pretty new. I hope to use these in tandem with restaurant eating and meals at home. We've bought Dim Sum, Yum Yum; First Book of Sushi and Hola Jalapeno and we love them all. In particular the rhymes in Hola Jalapeno were so catchy we found ourselves using them like a nursey rhyme in our day to day life. Review: I have several Amy Wilson Sanger World Snacks Books (all of which I love), and this one is no exception. The graphics are bright and interesting, allowing me to introduce this book when my son was just a few weeks old. The words are fun and have a great rhythm, which has kept him interested as he gets older. I'm able to play with accents as I read these books aloud. This is one of my son's favorite books (he's now 7 months old). It's also a small and thin board book, so it's easy for him to hold and help turn pages.

A lovely book that introduces children, and adults, to new food. The unique way that it is illustrated also is inspirational for creative projects with your kids.

i can't write in all caps, but this series of baby books from amy wilson sanger are our absolute favorite. i have all 7, and give them as gifts to lucky friends. so funny, so cute, so creative and a great way to learn about world foods, really. my older daughter likes to read the dessert sections to our baby and we have even experimented with some of the foods. A MUST HAVE FOR KIDS OF ALL AGES!

A simple, but colorful book with some basic words in Spanish. Good for a child 1 - 4 years old to learn Spanish and develop a bilingual ear if parents continue to build upon it.
