I Love This Scrub!
This scrub has a nice feel - not too dry where it would be hard to scrub on and cause abrasions and not too liquidy where it will just run off your lips and not scrub. It has been freezing, dry, and windy in the Northeast - the kind of weather that flares up my eczema and dries out my skin. I followed the directions and wet my lips with warm water first, took a small amount of product and warmed it between my fingertips before I scrubbed my lips, and wiped my lips off with a warm wet washcloth. Afterward, I used a lip balm by Marin that is designed for eczema - I noticed that using the lip balm after the scrub made my lip balm feel less like a thick, sticky film that just sat on my lips and more hydrating and penetrating. I did this as a type of lip mask before bed. My lips felt great after using it and I could still feel where my lips still felt hydrated and soft the next morning. I think the scrub helped the lip balm penetrate the skin on my lips so they could receive the hydration they desperately needed. There is one thing I would like to mention, however. When I first received my order, I opened the box that the scrub came in and the lid of the container was dusty. I was confused and wondered if I received a return. When I opened the scrub nothing seemed amiss and didn't look used; so, maybe it was dust from the storeroom? At any rate, I love this product and will be buying more when I run out in the future.

No more dried out lips, just kissable ones
This is my first ever lip scrub. My lips are very sensitive and prone to cold sores if the skin is damaged, so I’ve always avoided abrasive lip treatments. Then I moved to the East Coast, and my lips dried out terribly. I needed something to keep from having the skin peel off. Insert the French Girl Rose Lip Polish. The polish’s tiny scrub beads are soft enough to help my dry skin and not wreak havoc on my lips. I gently rub a tiny amount (we’re talking tiny because a little goes a long way) on my lips and then use a cotton round with a bit of DHC deep cleansing oil to remove the scrub, then lightly wash with warm water. I follow the treatment with the Julep 24/7 Lip Treatment and Hydrating Gloss. I have non-dry, non-flaky, hydrated lips by morning. The lip polish has truly made a difference for the health of my lips. Definitely recommend 10/10.Oh! As a general rule, I don’t like rose scented anything - it’s always overpowering in whatever product I’m using. I can confirm that this has a light rose scent (I mean it’s in the name), but it dissipates quickly and for me is largely unnoticeable.

I hope you REALLY like rose
An effective lip scrub if you don't mind the STRONG rose fragrance. I really couldn't use it though, because WOW it was off-putting. A little less rose scent would be a big improvement

Worth every penny
This is the best product I have found for exfoliating around my lips. I am an old turkey and this is just the thing for me. It is worth it.

Exfoliating for Lips
Bought this on advice from friend as after hospital stay, lips were pealing. I used it the first month a lot but now only on occasion as it has helped me a lot

Giving it a chance
It’s not a scrub per se it’s more oily. Still feeling it out.

Tastes like soap
I cannot get over the soapy taste. It also doesn't feel good wiping it off dry, so it's not good on the go, and I can't just eat it like others bc of the taste. But the taste lingers on the lips afterwards so it's an annoying experience. I want to like it but there's clear improvements needed on a simple product. I like their tinted chapstick tho. They have more pigment than any other tinted cosmetic.

Very happy with purchase
My lower lip tends to dry up and peel a lot. This has become a part of my shower routine about once a week and gently exfoliates the skin without being too abrasive. Follow with a little lip balm and look forward to super soft lips!
