It will colour both grey hair, natural hair and already coloured hair so just put it where you need it. Do a strand test first to see how well it will blend.

I just put it on my dry hair. Apply it on my roots and grey hair, waited 20 min. Then shampooed and conditioned in shower. My hair looked great.
