This is the cheapest possible option to replace your key unless the remote circuit system is not broken. If remote circuit is broken get it only from the maruti service center, otherwise security of your car could be compromised.You need a lock smith to cut the metal portion of the key, it comes separately. My key was fine so I haven't replaced the metal key.However I have given one less star. Cause it is still to much pricy considering the production/import cost of such items..But it still deserve 4 start for 4 main reasons1. Product is returnable.. It should be because this kind of products has high chance of being faulty randomly.2. It fitted perfectly.3. It has a silicon key cover pouch for protection from further damage.4. Price is lowest in Amazon.Another note :I found the battery lost its charge while handling and it appeared initially that the key case was faulty.So you might need a new battery. I bought cheap one CR1620 3V battery from Amazon basics.

all the components and parts are of good quality however the old key did not fit as old key is of different shape with side edge so could not insert. I had to use hacksaw blade to cut the edge of old key then I could insert into the new enclosures.The description should have mentioned that so it was more work for me.
