What do you expect from a great product
Fantastic, I’m a big fan of this manufacturer. I’ve been in the HVAC business as a text since 1976. Along the way I’ve made several purchases with this product. Not much because they just don’t wear out. This feels of the same quality I come to depend on for many years. I recommend this product

Excellent - great value for the money
Hi. I am a refrigeration mechanic and I use this meter at work. Overall it is a good meter, everything I need is in one package. It has a good solid feel to it and it appears to be well made. There is a small learning curve in terms of selecting the function that you need for a given measurement, but that is easy to learn. The only issue that I have with the meter is that the magnet on the rear is a little bit on the small side and doesn’t hold the meter very well on thin sheet metal (like you would find with a residential furnace), on thicker steel it’s fine but on thin gauge metal it doesn’t stay in position as well.Overall I am very happy with this purchase and with all of my UEI tools in general. Thanks

Real nice meter with one flaw that I can deal with.
LIke the meter, wish it came with micro leads for boards but that's ok. Only real flaw is the magnet isn't quite strong enough for field use. I do HVAC for what that's worth. It should hold hard to a metal surface. If you slightly tug the leads when positioning yourself or moving around it will take the meter off the surface. Probably because of all the batteries it holds. I'm fine with the batteries, they've lasted forever, and I leave it on for long periods rather than on/off all the time to try to save them. You'd think they would be able to have it tested to be sure something like a magnet is sufficient. That said, I'm glad it got it, temps, amps, cont, range, high/low, inrush, capacitor testing etc. is great. And it survived without a scratch or issue the times the magnet let go so that's good but I'll probably get a stronger one because I don't want to risk a final death blow. Last item, it is replacing my trusty Flukes that are just old and tired. None of them have batteries or nearly the features. Flukes are great but you have to spend a lot more for the same features. We'll see how long this one lasts in comparison.

Good price, good meter.
Works great. I’ve only used the thermocouples to balance and adjust tx valve on under cabinet coolers and it worked perfectly. I tested a capacitor with it and performed a few motor amp checks so I haven’t used it too much but all the functions seem to work perfectly and accurately. It has a lot of features in one single meter versus having 4 flukes that cost 4 times as much. So far it has been a great meter.
