Fun fast paced game for friends and family
Great group game. Fast paced. Simple to play hard to win. Do individual or teams depending on the number of players.

Fun game. Simple once you get the hang of it.
This is a fun game. It has a bit of Taboo with a dash of Scattergories. Basically, you have two teams, purple and orange, each team has a card with five word spots and then colored squares at different positions on each like (corresponding to letter spots in a word.) Each color square corresponds to five different colored 12 sided dice with letters on all the sides. When you roll the dice, you put the letters the come up on each different die in the boxes of the corresponding color on each card. Then the teams think up words that incorporate the letters. You then switch cards and one person on the other team has to describe the words your team wrote so their teammates can guess. In an interesting twist, the guessing team only gets as much time to guess as the writing team took to write. So you can either spend the full timer amount trying to come up with difficult/clever words or try to write 5 words as fast as you can and try to hamstring the competition with limited time to guess. It's really interesting to try the different strategies. There is a simple game board and the winner is the team that gets to the end first. We played this with a group of 6 (two teams of three) and really had fun. Since it relies on players coming up with their own words, it doesn't repeat so much (like if you had specific cards to use) so that's nice. Overall, we really enjoyed it. It's fun and quick.

A different and fun game that won't get stale
This is a fun game that requires 4 players to play. Each round is broken into two parts. In the first part, some dice are thrown that show letters and you put the letters into designated spaces on your team's card. Then each time has some time to come up with words that fit the letter pattern that was thrown, coming up with 5 different words on their card.In the second part of the round, the teams swap cards. Then each time has one "giver" and one "receiver", and the giver has to give clues and the receiver tries to guess each word. Kind of like the old TV game show. This game is fun because there is some strategy to coming up with words that will make it difficult for the other team to guess them. But you're also in a race against time to come up with the words quickly. The way the timer works, the faster you come up with words, the less time the other team has to give/guess clues. This is a mix between a word game and a clue guessing game.Because there are no "clue cards" like many games have, you won't start to see the same cards over and over after a lot of play. So each game is fresh and different, and won't get stale.Although the instructions say for the team to work to come up with words to fill their card, I'm not sure how they could do this without talking -- and giving the words away to the other team. So the way we played, each person on the team took a turn to be the word "creator".

Great Party Game
So first I want to point out a couple of things. You are going to need a space large enough that when you are trying to come up with the words required for each round the other team can't hear you. So playing this in your studio apartment that is only 300 sq/ft might prove difficult. Additionally this game does require two teams. You need a minimum of 4 people to play and works best in even numbers to keep the teams fair.Moving on to the actual game. The game itself is really easy and could be played on the go. For example in a park or at school or even at the beach. You really don't need a playing surface like a lot of games which is nice. The rounds are very quick which keeps people engaged. A basic understand of spelling is needed as letter placement within a word is required for the game to work. We had so much fun playing this game we highly recommend it.

Good but not spectacular
We have had fun playing this game. But, the four of us (parents, age 12, and age 10) agree that it won't generally be our first choice. It's easy to understand and straightforward to play. It may be more fun with more people or couples.

Risky Business
The game itself is very fun. Upon receipt of the gamew, there was no wrap on it and the game appeared to be used. Very disappointed.
