Perfect creamy coconut soup
So originally one of my clients gave me a couple of these and once I had it I was hooked.I know some people have been complaining about a fish smell, but It’s gonna smell like fish because it’s a shrimp broth and it’s not fresh. So I didn’t get too much of a fish smell, I actually smelled peanuts when I opened up the paste Even though you don’t taste peanuts in it.To me it’s like a very mild super mild Thai curry. It’s creamy coconut I broth with shrimp flavoring, it taste so good. It’s super mild , no spiciness whatsoever but it’s just so good.I can just see myself cooking chicken and then just adding it to it and I think that’s gonna be delicious. But if you like coconut soups and you like creamy soups, I highly recommend it. I think it’s astonishing how they were able to mimic that type of texture . I love this soup and will continue ordering it. I just saw that they have a Vietnamese pho broth so I’m curious but that will taste like

I didn't know what to think about this, but..
I read the reviews trying to find out what people thought about this product. There were mixed reviews and so I didn't really know what to think about it. I decided to buy it anyways because I know how to doctor up ramens that I don't care for. Now let me state by saying that I always add green onions and hard boiled egg to my ramen and typically I will add a teaspoon of mayo and one grated garlic clove. I didn't add the garlic but I added the rest to this ramen and I must say I gave it a five-star. It's not very spicy at all and I would probably kick it up with some chili paste or chili flakes but that's a good thing because not everyone can handle very much spiciness. I would prefer to add more to mine than have it be too hot which would destroy my experience. So season it to your taste for the best experience. It's rich, flavorful, and tasty. The noodles are very substantial and my stomach feels over full right now so it's definitely meal size not snack size. I'm very glad that I purchased this one and would come back for more once this is done.

These are delicious!
I love these noodles! They cook very fast (7 minutes!) and don't taste instant. They have a lot of flavor and remind me of restaurant quality soups I've had. The noodles are the perfect thickness and they are tastier than other instant noodles I've tried (I've tried a lot).

cook the thick noodles thoroughly! a bit pricey compared to price at oriental markets (in the usa)
Wonderful product. Legitimate Singaporean brand with as authentic a taste as possible for an "instant noodle" dish. Note that these thick noodles need to be cooked thoroughly (follow the directions on the package) otherwise they'll remain hard if you simply use boiling water and cover it up (which is fine for something like cup noodles ).Taste: 4.5 stars (pretty decent compared to freshly made laksa)Price: 3 stars -can be much cheaper if you live near an oriental market, but this is convenient if you don't have access to one.

Curry paste is not fried well. Hence the smelly raw shrimp odor
I still bought this after a few mixed reviews and when i made my first pack of Laksa noodles, I realised ( after having eaten the real thing in restaurants in Asia , that the curry paste needed to be fried more before it was packed. So that's what I did for the next pack. I stir fried the paste in a pan with some plain oil ( any neutral tasting oil will do ) for about 5 minutes on medium low heat and i could tell that the aroma had changed, and that the raw shrimpy smell was gone. So that is my feedback. As a result this will not be the "instant' noodle meal that everyone expects but after you cook the paste , the meal will taste much better! Add some crunchy romaine lettuce, halved boiled egg, bean sprouts, garlic chili oil, a squeeze of lemon, or if you feel like going gourmet, then some teriyaki marinated cooked chicken and you will really enjoy this meal =)

OMG! Amazing. The Best Lamian Noodles
I saw these noodles reviewed on Youtube. They were ranked the best out of many noodles taste tested. I took a chance and ordered them and wow! The noodles unlike package ramen noodles are thick and fresh tasting. You add the sauce packages to the boiling water along with the noodles. This helps to get all the flavor into the noodles as they cook. You can serve them as is or add vegetables, chicken, or seafood. I added peas and Thai basil to mine. Sent some to my daughter and she loves them too.

Nothing Extraordinary
Ah, it's okay.I got it due to rave reviews in the New York Times and on Amazon. I know it won ramen of the year several times. I was curious about what it tasted like. The good part is the noodles. The texture is an upgrade from the standard ramen. Though I liked the flavor, I was not wowed by it.Now, to enhance the taste, I sauteed green onion, onion, and garlic and put it on top as a topping. I also put jumbo shrimps (unpeeled to preserve the flavor of the shrimp) into the broth while boiling to enhance the taste. I cooked it just the way it was instructed. I honestly think that if you were to cook Shin Ramen with canned Thai coconut milk (instead of water) and put in their seasoning that comes with the ramen, you will get something similar but with more umami flavor. It was great but I will not buy Laksa again. There was no wow factor. A great instant version of Laksa but I don't think it's worth what it is.
