Trodat/Ideal 45175 premium replacement ink - Blue - 1 ounce bottle

It's blue address stamp ink. You put it in your stamp and your address comes out in blue. Amazing!

The price is reasonable, compared to other sources that I searched. This is Trodat brand, not some off-brand. This style self-inking stamp has an ink pad that the stamp presses against.I don't know if this ink works in the other style, where the imaging stamp actually absorbs the ink into the porous material.

It's what I wanted. Works well. Low price. Fast deliver. Nothing more to say.

I stamp items every day. this bottle is cheap and a great deal and i will for sure buy it again when i need more.

UPDATE - I just threw it out (June 2019). Turns out the neck of the vial was split, and that's where the leak was coming from. It's plastic. We don't have this technology down? Geez.Well, you want savings, you got savings. The ink seems fine. I've used it and it creates a nice blue ink impression. How many imprints do you get per stamp-pad-resoaking. No idea. Is it "oily" or does it "fail to absorb". No idea - I don't have enough experience to know what it should be doing.DOES IT LEAK ALL OVER THE FUDGING PLACE ANY TIME YOU USE IT? Yep. 100% yes. Not sure whether it's a very poor container (seems likely), or something else, but every time I touch this thing, I end up with blue ink all over my hands. On the bright side, the ink does not come off of my hands easily, so that suggests it's good quality ink. At least if you're stamping your hands. Kind of like super glue.In any event, I have to give this a 1 star, which I don't do lightly, but what else can be said when the bottle needs to be stored in a zip lock bag and I have to use disposable gloves to use it so as not to look like I can't work a bic pen properly.
