Adds height to any chair!
Easy to install and very sturdy on the bottom of the chair. I recently purchased a set of vintage Windsor chairs to replace my uncomfortable kitchen chairs. The only problem is they where a little low for my table. My options were trim the legs of the table or raise the chairs. I search Amazon for "furniture risers" and found these Gorilla Risers. They worked great and were easy to install on two of my new old chairs and look great so I just ordered another 8 pack to do two more of my chairs. Good buy and a good product. (note: the price seemed high but Amazon's price was the best I could find anywhere for this product!)

Easy to install to add height to a chair
I just bought a handmade table. It is 2 inches higher than a standard table. I did not want to buy new chairs. I love my chairs. I didn't want to cut down the legs of the table either. These risers are perfect. They took 10 minutes to install on all the chairs and work perfectly. Simply drill a hole in the center of the bottom of the chair leg, the old glides I removed, showed exactly where the middle of each leg was, and screw in the riser and add the felt cap. The felt cap is nice and thick, much appreciated on my hardwood floor. A very inexpensive solution to my problem.

Works great except the screws are too short
I went looking for a solution to boost a pair of bar chairs that I purchased for a new bar top in an open kitchen. Cosmetically they are perfect; they blend right in with the color and style of my two dark walnut wood stools. However, when I pulled the 'taps' off the bottom of the stools to install these risers, I found that the legs had a bit of hollow space inside and that the 1.25" screws included in the set weren't touching the bottom of the legs. I had to go to the hardware store to purchase eight 3" screws, and drill about 1" into the bottom of legs in order to get the screws firmly attached with traction. I also found that the felt tips that come with the risers don't stay put. However, once installed with the longer screws, the risers work great with no wobble.

Kinda works kinda doesn’t
The nails it comes with messes up the plastic. After just one sitting it completely bent the nails. We purchased different nails and was able to fix 4 of them with a lighter and gave up with the other 4 in the picture. We have reordered a new set since there isnt much on the market to rise barstools so hopefully the second batch wont have the same issue since we will not even give the nails it comes with a try.To give you an idea of what nails we ended up purchasing for the other photo, it was door screws…it seems to work okay, only sat on it once so we’ll see….oh and to give you an idea how much pressure was put on: i only way 125 pounds….. decide what you want this.

Great for hardwood floors. Still gliding after months.
Wife got these for dual purpose.1) To keep our bar stools from scratching up the floor.2) For that little bit of extra height for our kids to sit at a more comfortable height. For purpose #1 these are really great. They glide smoothly across the floor, months after installing we've noticed no change in performance. For purpose #2 they did give a slight change in overall seat cushion height, but not quite enough. Can't fault the product on that though as the description has the exact dimensions listed on these, however my wife ordered them and I have no clue if she knew exactly what she was getting (personally I would've gotten some two to three inches taller). I just installed them.As far as installation goes, super easy, and quick. No problems. For being a plastic type material, they feel like they should last a long time.

Perfect for raising computer desk!
Finally got around to taking apart my computer desk and installing the GorillaRisers. Desk is Particle board, carefully screw into the middle of the board with a phillips head screwdriver (Do not use a hand power tool) and stop when you feel like it's getting close to the spacer. Gentle turn over the piece you added the risers or ask someone for help. I have hardware floors so I used the felt pads. Once the whole desk was finished, I could move the desk back into place. I took out all the draws of course! Great product for raising a computer desk and so far they are very sturdy and desk doesn't wobble. Just wish I didn't wait so long to install them.. 1 year ago I purchased them but didn't want to take apart the desk but it was well worth the time and money!!

Do not last
Purcased 3 months ago, failed now. Bent over because the screws let loose or bent. Not happy, had to purchase replacement risers. Will not purchase these again.
