Review Update: I am updating a previously incorrect review. I acted too quickly and unfairly. After washing, the towels fluffed up considerably. They're dense, good quality towels. Rather odd shape -- narrow and long -- but they're absorbent and and more than adequate for the job.Earlier Review: These towels arrived promptly. Shrink wrapped so that it wasn't readily evident that they are not much thicker than tissue paper. I thought that vacuum-pack aspect was the reason that the package was so thin. To my dismay, the cloths didn't expand after opening that vacuum seal. Nor did they improve after unfolding and shaking out the fabric. They genuinely see-through.I didn't feel like I could return them after opening the package -- but I should have. They are honestly almost as thin as tissue paper. The "terry cloth" is sparse. I am surprised that others have given a good review for this product. Perhaps the quality has changed since those reviews were posted.

These towels exceeded my expectations. They dry your hands really well, they feel heavy duty,. and they are really pretty! The pattern nor material are cheap feeling. They are very good quality. I will say they did not do the "best" at drying my dishes up, but i attempted to dry fresh from washing. If you let your dishes air dry for a bit, these towels are good for getting the excess water dried up before putting away.

We use kitchen rags for everything, these are great. Absorbent, easy to clean, and a nice color

I have purchased these black towels twice because they look great in my kitchen. They are very soft and surprisingly absorbent. They do shrink up a bit. If it has a warning in the description, I missed it, but on the tag I received, it said to dry in the shade. Lol. That’s not going to happen, so I can live with the shrinkage. Wait until they go on sale and I think you get your value for the money because of the softness and attractiveness of the towels. I lost about a 1/2 an inch all the way around.

These are perfect. Affordable. Thick. Good size. Wash and wear well

I purchased the black towels about 5 months ago. They aren't incredibly absorbent. I have to wipe dishes at least twice as long as my old set of towels before the water fully comes off. Plus, it's been many washes by now, and lint keeps coming off on everything. I can't wipe down anything with a rough surface without lint getting trapped in it. They aren't the worst, but definitely not the best.

Purchased these for our kitchen. I like 100% terry cloth towels because they absorb better then micro fiber or polyester towels. They came shrink wrapped to at first glance they don't look that nice. But after a washing, they look great and work as you would expect. Will buy more.

The towels are ok quality but the width of the towel itself is small. Towel is long but not wide, almost could Sew 2 together to get a decent size towel
