Great Solution for Prolonged Wound Care
I'm pretty impressed with these bandages. Let me explain why: My husband has probably had at least 10 MOHs surgeries with varying degrees of depth and area and some different "closures." Some of them have been in "easy" places like the top of his head or his nose (not pretty, but pretty easy for wound care purposes - usually sutured). Some are in hard-to-reach places like in the crease behind the ear, requiring some creativity for prolonged wound care. If you don't know about this, it can take up to 10 weeks or more for a cauterized wound to heal, requiring daily dressing changes.Like many wounds, these come with a prescribed treatment protocol. First, is a non-adherent pad. Second is a good seal around the pad to prevent infection and to ensure that the dressing ointment (sterile petroleum jelly) stays in place. Typically, the surgical team will pack these wounds with non-adherent pads, maybe some gauze cushioning, and incredible amounts of Medipore tape. Some years ago, one of the practitioners introduced us to these "island" dressings, which can ultimately replace the pads, gauze, and tape. So, when caring for my husband's wounds, these have been a go-to after about a week of care to ensure all bleeding has stopped. They have a couple of advantages, the primary being that the sticky part is essentially like Medipore and does not damage or irritate skin. Important for anyone on blood thinners, with latex allergies, or any other sensitivities. The bandages are more comfortable than all the tape tape layers needed be applied and they hold well, even on short hair.In the case of this particular style product, I was looking for something longer that could be folded to fit the crease behind my husband's ear. This fit the bill, being rectangular in shape. I make several small slit cuts into the tape area to help with "sculpting" the bandage around the curve of the ear and they work perfectly and stand up to a night's sleep, wearing glasses, and other daily "stuff" that could affect adhesion and comfort. He finds it much more comfortable than the tape and pad approach. It's less obtrusive, as well, and removes easily.I use island dressing for all his significant wounds for these reasons and would recommend nothing else. What amazes me is that we have encountered quite a few medical professionals (ER, wound care nurses, derm nurses, and docs) who don't even know that such a thing exists and they wish their clinics stocked them. I wish that same thing.

As good as bandages used by my surgeon for a MOHs surgical wound.
These are as good as the Island surgical bandages my surgeon used. They provide great coverage, protect the wound while allowing air to circulate to aid in healing. There are 50 individual bandages in the box of 2" X 3 3/4 size bandages. The size is just right for a MOHs skin cancer surgery on my shin. They are so much nicer than OTC bandages, which were not quite large enough to cover a small surgical wound and either did not stick well or were painful to remove. Removing them is nearly painless, yet they stick well around the wound. So happy I found these on Amazon. They were delivered by Amazon quickly and arrived in pristine condition.

Great absorption, great coverage, TOO great adhesion.
Bandages work great, actual bandage size is probably closer to 4.5x4.5 for the 6x6 option, but that's plenty. The adhesive is STRONG, almost too strong. Taking this off hurt a TON. I needed to use this on my side, and it stuck amazing no matter what movements I was making, but I needed to douse the thing in water to take it off. Even with the water, the adhesive stuck extremely well. My main downside is the red marks this left. Since I had to borderline rip the bandage off, the adhesive left a large red square on my side. If not for that, this would be a 5 star bandage.

Perfect for wounds
I found these dressings and used hem post surgery. They were perfect. Not too bulky, I could easily cut to fit the area I needed and the adhesive stayed put. I highly recommend.

Wonderful wonderful product
I have a wound that I will have the rest of my life and sometimes it will take me 30 minutes bandaging it I'm also allergic to adhesive but yet I can use this and it is so much easier and more comfortable and saves me the one thing I can't afford to waste cuz I'll never get it back and that's my time I am so grateful that I discovered this and that Amazon is so much more affordable than the stores and I just want to say it's done more than save me money it's giving me back part of my life that I spend in a room trying to hide and cover something that's embarrassing and painful it's made it a little bit more tolerable for that I'm thankful I recommend this product all day

I thought I loved them, but...
All in all, I think this is a decent product. I've been using them for about 10 days now and, unfortunately, I've noticed a couple things that are forcing me to, at least temporarily, stop using them. 1. I found the adhesive to be very strong UNLESS I had just applied body lotion. I suspect negative reviews saying that they don't stay on may have something to do with people having applied body lotion or Neosporin or some other emollient like product which prevents the adhesive from doing it's job. I was careful to only apply those types of products either outside (body lotion) or inside (antibiotic cream) of where the adhesive border would be placed and then I had no problem with adhesion. In fact, upon removal they sometimes take some leg hairs with them. After multiple days of use the area where the adhesive sits is beginning to look pretty red and feels pretty irritated. 2. They look and feel super soft and it feels like it should be a pretty breathable material. But, I find that it's not breathing well. I even took off my compression socks for a few days to see if that would help, and alas it hasn't. It could have to do with the type of wounds I have and where they are on my body. After removal I would notice the area covered by the dressing feels semi-damp/sweaty. Overall, I would say if you're using these for leg ulcers on your calves, proceed with caution. If you're using them for another type of wound, they're worth giving a try as they are super soft, padded and comfortable, adhere well and are an excellent value.

Ease of product and doesn’t stick to the wound
These work well the tape doesn’t hurt your skin when it comes off they’re big enough so you can cover perhaps two wounds. Definitely worth the price here than buying in the store.
