Can you use these with just the spike and not the stem.

Thank you so much for your inquiry. The solar pathway lights cannot be connected to the spikes directly. Therefore, you need to use stakes to connect them.

What size battery? Can I replace it?

Each light comes with an AA battery and you can replace them quite easily.

I switched the ON switch but they don’t come on at night. Plenty of sun.

There is a small plastic tag that you need to remove for them to work. This maybe the problem.

For those who have had these a couple of years do they still work?

I bought 6 and now only 4 is working. When the weather gets better and I have more time I shall have a play around and see if I can make the other 2 work. I was really pleased with this buy in the first summer I had them. Although 2 were small in size, but I had very good after sales service.
