Very comprehensive with bus numbers and routes and pubs and where to stay etc

The level of detail is generally good and the drawn maps are clear and usefully annotated. If you plan to use accommodation like hotels, inns, or BnBs you are well covered.If you’re planning to camp, however, you are left rather more to your own devices. Campsites *are* mentioned, but the only reference to camping supply finding en route is a general warning (on p. 23) to “plan your journey carefully…” - without indicating later in the town and village descriptions where such basics as stove fuel etc might reliably be found.Although the ridgeway isn’t particularly long and so the chances of running out of camping gas halfway are not that high, just a little more attention to this basic area would have made this guide vastly more useful for those planning to camp.
