Update: One year later
One year update: This thing has held up pretty well considering how rough I am on things. It has had a very rough life, and is now starting to fall apart after one year. The layers are starting to separate and unstitch, but the material itself is still fine. It has been dunked in water numerous times, thousands of card removal and replacement, lots of use folded in kickstand, and many hours magnetically stuck to metal machinery. The magnets have collected a lot of metal dust I can't seem to remove, and I've stopped trying. Until it splits entirely I'll keep using it, but I'm not sure if I will buy another when that happens. Original review: This has been a great force in simplifying my life. I chose this over the Apple wallet because I knew I would need to carry more than two cards, and reviews at the time said that this wallet could. It can. Provided two of your cards are on the thinner side, it will fit them with ease. The only caveat to this is that it will not sit perfectly flat, but it doesn't really affect functionality. I've tried to take a picture of this. The magnets are pretty strong and folding the flap into the kickstand is a great feature. An additional feature that didn't occur to me until a few weeks in is that this thing can hold your phone to flat, vertical metal objects. Or at least an iPhone mini, YMMV with larger iPhones. When used like this it's rather easy to twist the phone of the wallet, leaving the wallet in place to throw the phone at later. Probably not recommended by the manufacturer for legal reasons... The material choice on this is solid. I'm not easy on my stuff and it has held up great. I work in a machine shop, so it does have a tendency to collect metal shavings which have to be blown off every now and then, but I would rather the shavings be on this than in the speaker ports of my phone. Without having used any other MagSafe wallets, I think I made the right choice starting with this one. I have felt no need at any point to explore other options. Edit: after reading some other reviews, I've noticed a handful of people that complain about the kickstand feature while not using it correctly. You are to roll the flap up into a triangle shape with both folds going the same direction with the top flap's outer surface facing inwards. It just works.

Not the best at anything, but a Jack of all Trades
This wallet is great, there is no doubt about that, but it is just short of amazing. This wallet is thin, rigid, quality feel, and comfortable to use; HOWEVER, comparing to my MOFT wallet, it is clear that it is lacking in the stand aspect. The Spigen wallet works similar to an Ipad folio where you fold it to make a stand, but you do have to keep in mind how you angle the stand because it can make the phone really wobbly. Compared to Moft's which is designated and more convenient in that factor. However, it outperforms moft wallets in durability, ease of card access and overall the quality. Additionally, the rubber/silicon-ish material makes it easier for me to use my phone one handed as well. With that being said, I decided to keep this wallet and return the moft wallet. Why? Because i dont mind taking 1 extra second to make sure the stand is angled right and i dont have to take the wallet off my phone to pull or put in a card whereas the moft wallet pops off the phone due to its card access design. Although the stand might be a tiny less stable than the moft, it really doesnt make a huge difference where I'd choose the moft over this wallet. Edit: Been using this wallet for over half a year now, and Ive been absolutely loving it. Additionally, the metal spigen logo fell off my wallet and customer service immediately helped me out and sent me a replacement! Definitely a worthy investment!!

Looks great but underperforms..
This was exactly what I wanted for my iPhone -- a great-looking MagSafe wallet with some card slots that also serves as a kickstand. Only issue is, that's literally all it does. And not well. The magnets are incredibly weak, where I'd be holding the phone and accidentally slide the magnet off my case (a MagSafe case on a MagSafe iPhone), the top sliding cover for the cards barely holds onto the rest of the wallet when you've got more than one card in. It's premium quality materials, but the magnets suck and the strength is just not there. Plus, it only holds two cards. Check out the ESR Wallet Stand for a better wallet -- upgraded to that after I realized there was nothing I could do to fix this one.

Works good so far, looks great.
I ordered this along with the Spigen Mag Armor case. The wallet looks nice, the texturing on it is subtle enough that it doesn't stand out but is still very nice to look at and eye catching. It has a quality feel to it in my opinion and is pleasant enough to feel when I have it in my hand or on the back of my phone. It holds well enough to my phone with the Mag Armor case on. I fell like I would've like if the magnets were just a touch stronger, but I don't feel like this will fall off easily during normal use. There is just a little bit of side-to-side wiggle when it is in place on the back of my phone that I prefer were not present. The stand works great so far. At certain angles, the magnet connection does seem to be a bit weak, but nothing that has ever been an inconvenience for me. I have been using it daily in both portrait and landscape mode and never had any problems with the stand when it was actually in use holding my phone up. It holds 2 cards very snug and has a nice window for your finger on the back side that you can use to easily slide the second card up. In fact, you can slide the card out without even having to unfold the wallet, which is kind of nice on certain occasions. I normally prefer my phone to have a very, very slim profile and typically don't use phone wallets. But I wanted to make use of the Magsafe feature on my iPhone 12 and thought that the built in stand would be worth the extra thickness. So far, it has been fine for me. It is comfortable enough in my hand even with the wallet attached and doesn't look too overly bulky aesthetically. I really wish this had room for either 3 cards, or maybe just a bit more room for a few bills. I always like to have a bit of cash on hand in case of emergencies. With how tight the cards fit in this wallet, there just isn't room for anything besides the 2 cards (which for me are my license and my debit card, both of which are necessities). I understand this is the trade off for keeping this as slim as possible and don't really consider it a design flaw. So far the durability seems fine, but as I've seen some complaints in other reviews about the edges falling apart or the magnet not being strong enough I plan to update this review if I run in to those problems later down the road. I took a star off because a really wish the magnet was strong enough to keep it more aligned with my phone instead of allowing that slight bit of side wiggle. I don't know if there is some sort of limit on how strong the magnet can be before it affects the cards or anything, but other than that I have been happy with this wallet.

Not very useful.
It looks nice and appears to be high quality and those are the positives. The downsides is that it doesn't stay on the phone, the magnet is weak and if you pull your phone out to answer it, the wallet sometimes falls off, that's a recipe for losing your credit cards. When you go to pull out a card, it is so tight in there that the thumbhole is useless, unless your thumb has the power of Spiderman, you'll rub off your skin before that card comes out. SO...you have to use your other hand, pry the cards apart and yank out the card you want and there was only two cards in there. About the only think it can sort of do is be a wobbly stand, remember the magnet being weak? Well, I've watched my phone slowly lean back and fall flat like it had too much too much to drink. It would make a nice gift for someone you don't like.

Poor execution
I love Spigen products, I have used their cases almost exclusively since my first smartphone, however this is not what I expected from them. The idea is great, slim wallet, holds two cards, make it like a smart folio. The problem: weak magnets and metal. The folio holds itself closed just fine, but as you can see from the photos, when you try to use it as a stand, the magnetic pull is not enough. The metal on one side, magnet on the other does not work well at all. The attraction seems to be strongest in the middle (just below the lower card slot) but even with no cards inserted, the case sometimes fails to hold shape. Strangely, the lower metal bar (closest to the hinge) seems to have a stronger magnetic pull than the upper bar (the flap end). I tried my phone (iPhone 12 pro max) in both landscape and portrait mode. As other reviewers have said, it does not work in portrait mode at all (the phone flips over). However I did expect landscape mode to work & unfortunately about 50% of the time I have to wrangle with the folio to get it steady enough to view. It’s a short lived victory though, because the moment I need to tap on the screen, the folio just slides up to the closed position and my phone is lying on the table. This could have been prevented with magnets on both sides of the wallet to increase the pull or using a stronger quality magnet. Guess I am going back to using my portable stand, because this does not get the job done like I had hoped. Also, yes, I have tried flipping the upper portion down between the two halves, but the same issue occurs. The wallet collapses to almost completely flat. Hopefully Spigen reformulates this with a 2.0 version, otherwise it will be a mark against a company that usually means high quality.

Best magnetic wallet
I love this product and have repurchased it multiple times for different iPhones. It is sleek, sturdy, and very functional. The magnetic hold is strong; however, it can detach from the phone when placed against other magnetic surfaces. Overall, it is easy to use, compact, and well-designed. I would purchase it again.

Great minimalist wallet
This wallet is great for minimalists. Adds the perfect amount of grip for people who don't use cases
