A lot of bang for your buck
I was after a cheap action camera for use while cycling. I didn't want to spend on top brand devices, as it would only be used infrequently. Obviously with a lower price, there are sacrifices.. Usually with image quality. For me I didn't need the best high-res 4K image, with the best lens, but still had a high expectation of image quality. After much research of products across Amazon, I settled on this Apexcam Action Camera. Never personally heard of the brand before. There was a deal on, and thought I'd take a punt as reviews looked good, as did image quality. Not only do you get the camera, you get every type of mounting that you can think of... It came with 2 small batteries and a neat little charger that will charge both (together) as well as being a MicroSD card reader in one unit. Build quality of the Camera/batteries and charger unit are fantastic, and would be something that you would see on more expensive products. There is an external remote control that you can use to take photos, switch between video and photos. There is no touch screen to this model, but once you get your head around what buttons do what, it's pretty easy to use. Video/picture quality is really great for the price. I wasn't expecting anything ground-breaking with the cost, but overall its exceeded expectations. Yes the sky does get blown out a little, but I have seen far worse. The image is crisp and clear, and the image stabilisation does the job! I did have one small issue, that Support were able to resolve for me.. They were very responsive and I have been suitably impressed. Overall you get a LOT of 'bang for your buck'.. If you want a better than average cheap action camera, with a ton of accessories, you really cannot fault it. I highly recommend it.

Excellent value.
An excellent little camera and well worth the price. Comes with lots of accessories, most of which I will never need, all packed into a protective case. I already had a 64 Gb memeory card which was formatted in the camera. The menu system and set up is straightforward without referring to any instructions. It's being used as an in car camera at the moment. I like the 1/4" threaded connector on the base of the camera - may be attached/screwed to a mount directly. Video quality is good - not too sure it's 4k though. A fully charged battery provides long enough recording time for me. Battery may be charged in the camera or in the little charging case provided. Removing the battery loses the date and time. Considering the price, ot bad at all.

Video playback
I can't comment on the playback video as I've not put a card in it yet but it was easy to install despite the fact you get a million things to use (this is a plus), very steady and water is yet to penetrate the case. VERY EASY TO REMOVE FAST, found the clip on the case very useful, all in all it is a great camera

Great for the money
I was a little unsure what I was doing when I ordered this camera knowing very little about 'action cameras' however I needed something to record work over lockdown and wanted something that would work in and outdoors and for video and stills, and this seemed to fit the bill. On receiving it, I was most impressed by the carry case which is good and robust, and by all the accessories which enabled me to rig it up on my tripod immediately and, should I choose to, mount it in a variety of ways. The camera controls are intuitive and easy to use although I haven't used the remote control just yet so can't comment on that. The clear protective case does keep the camera nice and dry/safe however I did find some slight condensation building up when filming in the sunshine. Having the two batteries is a must as, although adequate, battery life isn't that long if you're out all day- I managed about 1.5 hours from one charge. The little duel charger is great for that too. I am doubly pleased I bought this as I have recently started paddle boarding and have seen that one of the mountings will fit on my paddle so with the sealed waterproof case, that's an added bonus! All in all very pleased with the quality and function of this camera, definatly good value for money.

**False Waterproof Claims**
If I could give minus 5 stars I would! Bought this €45 “4K waterproof” action cam online right before a long holiday, big mistake. • Water damage on the FIRST dive – Waterproof case was clipped shut, seals checked, taken to ~2 m depth for 10 mins. Came up with fog inside the housing; water had seeped in and fried the camera. It’s now completely dead – won’t even power on. Refund impossible while abroad – Seller’s policy gave me until 31 October to return. I was still on holiday without the original box or access to proper postage. This is false advertising – they market it as “40 m waterproof” when it can’t handle a shallow snorkel. Lost €45 and all the underwater footage I’d planned for the trip. Do not buy. Spend the extra on a real brand or just use a phone pouch. This thing belongs in the bin, not on your holiday.

Good for the money
Its a good little camera, and not at a stupid price, biggest problem for me was not being able to see the screen very well, but this is more my eyesight than a fault with the camera. It also has limited functionality, but overall its ok for the money.

Best Quality for Money Bodycam
The camera itself and value for money you couldn't get better. Picture quality excellent, size is so small it can be used comfortably on body with harness or various accessories and fitting this comes with. The performance of this little camera, along with it being waterproof, it has high resolution recording, easy to upload to other sources like computer or TV to watch footage. The app that accompanied this camera however is very volatile and keeps crashing. To be honest the app gives nothing to the camera and its performance. Many complaints about the app but all it does is what the camera does working alone. This is the best quality and value for money camera on the market. 5 stars all the way ✨️

I ordered this camera primarily to use it in the water. It did not disappoint. There were pros and cons to using the camera—listed below, and which I will explain after—but overall I think it deserves 5 stars because for the price, you get exactly what you expect. Pro | Con - Works mostly well | The firmware lags sometimes - Takes pretty good pictures/video | It takes a few seconds to capture and process each photo* - Came with a handful of accessories | The battery cap is really hard to openº - Simple to use in the water | Buttons on the waterproof case feel awkward - No loss of quality while in the water | The camera picks up the edges of the lens cover in the corners (see pictures)ª - Battery is decentˆ | The card must be formatted specifically for (and on) the camera** *But there is a burst mode ºI had to use a mini pocket knife to wedge it open ªThis could be a pro if that's the style you're going for ˆBut it comes with an extra, and a dock to charge both simultaneously **So you can't just insert and go (also, make sure to save everything on the card before you format) The pictures came out nicely. They are not 4k as described, and if you plan on zooming in far you'll definitely lose some quality; the pictures become grainy the more you zoom in, but if your not planning on super-zooming, then this is fine. I think the firmware lagging might have been because my SD card is wonky, but it's still something to consider. It is annoying that it has to be specifically formatted, but it's not unreasonable. I just don't like how I had to backup everything instead of being able to just add on, as I can with my other camera. The camera is simple to use, even in water, but sometimes it feels like you're pressing really hard when in fact you're not. It also sometimes has a fisheye effect, but it's sporadic and not the worst thing (I can live with it). The audio recording is either really good, or really bad. I dove off our boat while recording a video. I later watched the recording on my computer, and at the moment I hit the water the volume skyrocketed (my ears still hurt XD ). So, like I said, the camera was either really good at recording the audio, or really bad and just processed it as a loud bang of white noise. I'm not an expert in that regard, so take that as you will. Lastly, aside from my shoddy camera work, the video is also better than expected. Colour is pretty good (not exactly 4k), but acceptable for what I needed it for. Overall, my experience with the Apexcam was pretty good. It's nothing professional, but it gets the job done and is worth it for the price. This was one of the cheaper waterproof(ish—WP case) cameras I could find, and it did not disappoint. For now I definitely plan on keeping it as my go-to WP camera.

Amazing quality for the price! This apex camera exceeded my expectations. The video and picture quality are clear and sharp, especially considering how affordable it is. It comes with all the pieces you need to attach it to a helmet and so much more, which is a huge bonus and saves you from having to buy extra accessories. Everything feels sturdy and well made, and setup was quick and easy. Perfect for anyone who wants great action footage without spending a fortune. Highly recommend! Bought for my 9 year old for his dirt bike and he loves it!
