works well. light is so useful!
These are awesome for removing tonsil stones. lasted at least 8 year or so and I broke it because my drawers were too full and it was sticking up.

Gets the job done! Lots of helpful tools for the price.
This did the job, exactly as advertised. Much better than my prior efforts of sticking a q-tip in my throat, which just scratched my throat and made me cough/bleed without dislodging the tonsil stone in the slightest. This kit comes with a nice assortment of tools, including a very helpful stainless steel scooper. The silicone tip on the glass tool is very soft and nice, and the lighted tip was helpful. It's a little tricky getting everything back into the box, but it can be done if you pay attention to how it was arranged when you opened it. I feel the product was throughtfully made and designed. It even comes with extra batteries, a nice touch. Great kit for the price.

Nice to have, but cheaply made
This is nice to have, but it does feel like it was cheaply made as I lost one of the rubber tips almost immediately. Most of the attachments seem like they would be too hard to use without hurting myself so I only use the attachments with rubber tips. The flashlight portfolio is also flickering a bit as well and I'm not sure if that is because the batter is low or if something is wrong with the flashlight itself.

Works great but the lightbulb dies
I’ve gotten two kits so far. It works well for what you pay for, however the quality of it does fall apart easily. My first kit fell apart as I tried to replace the batteries and my second the lightbulb started to dim even with new batteries.

simple solution, time savings alone will allow this to pay for itself.
This is much better than what I used to use. I actually found the long double spooned metal pick to be the best out of the picks. Although the irrigator removed a lot of material I couldn't even see, after I gave it long and hard pushes for maximum water. My mouth is so clean now. I even use the irrigator like a water pick between my teeth. I have my mirrors and light adjusted in such as way to illuminate my throat, so the light thing is only just a nice gesture to me.

Works as intended
I was initially concerned about this kit because it was very light and seemed cheap. I put the longest tip on the light and was amazed at how great it works! I ended up loving how light and compact it is. I'm not sure I will need all of the tips, I feel I will only use the longest one, but I we'll see. This was my first experience with tonsil stones, so I have nothing else to really compare it to aside from Q-tips. I did not like using Q-tips and a flash light, way too hard. This was super easy and convenient. The light ends up also lighting up the tip of the tip, which I showed in the picture. It works exactly as intended. The tip was in fact soft on my tonsils. I would recommend. And you can store everything (but the syringe) in the compact case that is included. Definitely worth buying.

Excellent tool for a minor but very gross annoyance.
I've been getting tonsil stones since I was 11 years old and anyone I talked to about it had no clue what it was or didn't have the problem. It was pretty isolating. Then years later I find out its fairly common and if you're an allergy sufferer the nasil drip and mucus might make you more prone to them. Well if thats the case then there should be something to help remove them, and there is! Some reviews said the light wasn't bright enough so I was worried, but it's fine, way better than holding my phone in one hand with the flash on and using (I kid you not) an extra nintendo ds stylus I had lying around to pick them out (washed of course). As far as gagging goes it helps to tighten the throat muscles and slowly exhale (like saying "aaaaah" except more breathy and wispery). However the most underrated tool here is the curved tip syringe. Even if you don't see or feel any tonsil stones, every once in a while use the syringe to (gently) rinse out the little pockets and crevices around and on your tonsils with warm salt water (literally stick the syringe in the little holes), a bunch of tiny tonsil stones gush right out with the water (Absolutely gross, but better than them sitting in there and growing. Even if you see only one, it's a lie, there's more underneath it.) you'll be horrified and refreshed. Another product I recommend is the TheraBreath Throat Spray with Extended Reach Nozzle to spray the tonsils, it'll neutralize odor that may come from tonsil stones and help keep them at bay. Good luck! May we all have the freshest breath! *gargles mouthwash* PS. A solution of 1% Hydrogen Peroxide (mix one part of 3% hydrogen peroxide with two parts water) in the syringe is VERY effective at keeping tonsil stones away for weeks. Absolutely wonderful.

Need surgery now, great product, might die
I need surgery now. rubber cap came loose AND IS INSIDE ME NOW. I CAN'T GET IT OUT I'M FREAKING THE F OUT RN. DO NOT USE DO NOT BUY. THIS IS NOT A JOKE I CANNOT GET IT OUT I'M BLEEDING SO MUCH RN. i need to go to the doctor now. I hope i don't choke and die on it in my sleep. Yeah sure it was great for a while but now i might die. I mean it works really well but you might just die. Super great product that can get stuck behind your tonsil and might come out during your sleep and kill you. Edit: still inside me, surgery won't be for another month. I had to see a doctor to see a doctor and I gotta wait. If I don't continue updating just know that I died in the stupidest way possible.

I’ve had this tonsil stone remover product for over 3 months. Wanted to give it a try several times before providing an honest review here. Bit of background for me first: 40year old female, I’ve suffered with tonsil stones for over a decade. I didn’t even know I had them or notice them until ten years ago when my throat felt sore when I swallowed and I shone my cell phone light into my mouth and noticed these white pebble like things sitting on or in my tonsils. For all I know I’ve had them my entire life. Anyways, fast forward to 3 months ago when this handy little device came into my life. First, it comes with two sets. Includes batteries already installed and extra batteries too. Also has extra tips that you attach to the end of the flashlight tool. It’s really easy to use, place a tip onto the flashlight and turn it on with the easy switch. Insert into mouth and point at first tonsil to see if you can notice any of those nasty little annoying white pieces of you-know-what. Push area around it gently with the soft tipped device to help dislodge a stone (some of them are so stubborn) and ta-Da, it comes out. Now, will this clear all of them instantly and/or permanently ... no, absolutely not. But it sure helps dislodge the ones that are noticeable. I have noticed since using this a few times a month for the past 3 months that my tonsils are not as swollen as they used to be. So I believe it’s helping to remove the ones that are there and preventing them from getting bigger and making my tonsils swell. I spoke to my dentist and an ENT (ear nose throat) doctor/specialist who both said the only way to rid yourself of tonsil stones for good is tonsil removal. There are no products or services to help otherwise. Once they get onto and into and behind your tonsils they leave dents and those dents carve a path for future tonsil stones to live and grow. That said, I have no desire to have my tonsils removed at 40. So, for now (unless I absolutely need my tonsils removed) I’m using this device to help dislodge what tonsil stones are within reach. I generally can feel bigger ones when I gulp first thing in the morning sometimes. Often bigger ones form after eating fried food the day before. I can brush, floss, use mouth wash and gargle and these things still form. It’s a nuisance to live with. So I’m thankful I came across this product. Although it will never rid me of them forever and doesn’t dig behind my tonsils, it does what it’s meant to do, is easy to assemble, stores nicely in a discreet little handy container to store all the parts in, is easy to wash (make sure you do so after each use) and overall a great gadget to have, keep one in your purse and the other at home. Price was reasonable especially since it’s for two sets and extra batteries. I have read people say the light isn’t that bright and I was ok with it. If you have a short gag reflex it can be tricky sometimes, and for me I just got used to it and am totally fine with it now. If you have annoying tonsil stones and you’re tired of trying to poke them out with your fingers, toothbrush or random objects, then try this out. Highly recommend it.
