Dansko Women's Pace Walking Shoe - Lightweight Performance Sneaker with Arch Support

I ordered 38 wide and normally wear a women’s US 7.5 Medium, they did not feel too wide, the upper material is a flexible mesh similar to the HOKA brand. But do not look super huge on your feet like the HOKA’s do.They are lightweight and very comfortable the footbed has a decent arch it is removable and could be replaced with orthotics. They have enough stability in the soles so I did not feel like my foot was supinating. (Tilting out).I did not have my heal pain while wearing them at work and I stand and walk around at my job.I would recommend these shoes.

I cannot say enough about how much I LOVE these shoes. I’ve worn Dansko clogs for 14+ years and still love them, but as I’ve grown older, my feet and ankles tend to swell about halfway through my shift. I have a very high arch and insole, so the part of the clogs that go across the top of my feet would start to get too tight and almost cut off circulation to my feet. My feet would start to burn and go numb. So, I started trying tennis shoes. I’ve tried pretty much all kinds. Some were great for a few shifts but then would wear down, or they just did not have the support I really wanted. I randomly came across these Dansko sneakers and was shocked they made sneakers! Then I saw the sale price and the reviews. I did the try before you buy feature, wore them for a week, and after that full week, I am sold. These are by far the best tennis shoes I’ve ever owned! They have great arch support, the part around the ankles and top of the foot is a nice stretchy material, they breathe very well, I can feel the cushion on the bottom of my feet as I walk and it almost feels like they have springs under them, and they don’t collect sweat and odor!! My feet do not burn or go numb, I’m not having to soak my feet and massage them after each shift, and my legs don’t hurt either. These will now forever be my go to work shoe. I’m so glad I just happen to come across these. Amazing!**FYI: I normally wear an 8.5-9 shoe, but I’ve always gone up a size with Dansko. I bought the 9.5-10 (size 40 Euro sizing) and they’re perfect.**

I am giving these a 5 star review, even though I returned them, because the problem is me not the shoes I'm sure. My left foot is slightly bigger than my right. The right shoe fit me so perfectly it felt amazing. I was so upset my left foot was not having it. I have no doubt if my left foot wasn't defective these would have been perfect. They have nice arches and heel pads. I'm looking at their other styles hoping something will fit my dumb left foot because I love these shoes. I was sad returning them.

Last year I was having very extreme heel pain. I wore other tennis shoes most of the time with a memory foam that was wearing down. I do not have the money for expensive shoes, but my feet are important. After thorough research I decided on the Pace walking shoe by Dansko. I am so glad I chose to purchase these. It took a little over a month for the heel paid to go completely away after wearing these in place of my other shoes, but so far so good. 8 months later and they are still as comfortable as ever. The only CON is that they do not have normal sizing which has left me with shoes that are too big. It would be helpful if they had a solid size 6 or 6.5, as I fall right in between there. I ordered the 6.5-7 and they are definitely too big. I have to wear thicker socks. I was nervous to go with the other size of 5.5-6 thinking they may be too small. If they can get that fixed, I could give 5 stars. And like others have stated, the little nubs on the bottom of the shoes did start coming loose after only a few months.

Great shoe for someone with plantar fasciitis and/or overpronation. Much more comfortable than my Nikes ( that was a mistake).

this is an extraordinarily WELL MADE beautiful shoe from sole and slip resistant to thick laces and quality sturdy material upper and insole very attractive UNTIL..you look at pointy pointy toe box 🤗. dont even try to fit your comfort spoiled used to spreading out toes into that funnel. Sad ...ruins the whole shoe only needed .5 inch more given in toe to make it perfect and worth the cash ...reminds me of a shoe extremely large inactive women buy so they canlook down and feel smaller by the 2 inch point on front of shockabsorbing shoe ...wish it wasnt so

Edited 12/14/2023 I received these mid-September 2023 and was really excited to try them out. They were REALLY tight on my toes. After a few weeks, they the toe box area has stretched and these are very comfortable. I've been wearing them daily for 3 months now. My plantar fasciitis is gone and I'm very pleased with these shoes. Will buy again.Original review 9/2023I was given a gift card for my birthday that covered most of the cost of this shoe, so I decided to bite the bullet and buy them. I have plantar fasciitis, so been dealing with a fair amount of constant foot pain when walking in other shoes. I wear size 10 and bought 9.5-10 wides because I felt 10.5-11 would be too big. The shoes fit great, except in the toe box - they are so tight I had to clip my toenails because they're so smushed together. It's not comfortable in the toe area, but has alleviated my plantar fasciitis pain, so I've continued wearing them (this is my 6th day) hoping that they'll stretch a little. Hoping they get better, because these are expensive and not something I would typically spend so much money on.
