Used with a stickup battery cam. I had used a 1.8w and 6 watt solar charger, neither would keep the battery charged, even with turning on the cam only at night. Once I plugged this charging cable in it charged the battery to 100% in a few hours. It’s stayed at 100% charge with the stickup cam turned on 24/7. Wish I would have bought this earlier and not wasted money on solar chargers. Works fantastic.

Using this to keep my Stick Up Cam Battery charged all the time. It works great. The camera detects it as a solar panel but even with the camera's installation configured as Plugged In, it keeps the battery at 100% all the time. The barrel connector also fits snugly and keeps the connection waterproof for outdoor use. Overall, works great.

It is working out great. I don't have to keep taking the battery out of the camera and then readjusting the camera to put it back up. This keeps the better fully charged and was easy to install

Works great. Only designed to charge the battery. This does not replace the plug in power adapter.

Charged cam up quickly so far no issues. Have had it hooked less than a week. Came with cable staples do that was a plus

This cable can only work as a continuous charging to the battery, but will not change the Ring devices into Plugin mode. In other words, just as stated in the description, the battery is always required. I think this is because of some kind of patent protection from the Ring company. So when you plug this cable in, the RIng device will only recognize it as a solar panel. It will charge the battery to 100% and keep it, but the device will tell you that it is not plugged in.

I love it, no more recharging my camera batter. Life saver.

Easy to install. Long enough to reach plug. Works like a charm. Never have to charge or change batteries
