Nice product, has backlight too which I don't think was mentioned. You can wire that to your headlight circuit or the same as the power if you don't want it switched. Installation is reasonable and varies depending on your application of course, in my case on a 1980's Club Car I had to mark and cut the opening because the one meant for it required tank removal and I didn't want to do that so I installed it where I had access.There is a chart that is slightly confusing but helps you set float. And what I did was drain gas and tweak the float setting. I didn't try super hard to get it super accurate but have it so it goes to "E" pretty close with some error on showing "E" when there was a little left, so it works and will keep the wife from getting stranded in the back yard or down the street. :-)

I ordered this to fit in the fuel tank of 1949 Chevrolet. The bolt holes lined up, but only when installed at a 90 degree to the original. The cut and measure directions are touch to achieve and have it be accurate. I measured 3 times and cut once, it reads low. It does at least get me closer to what is in the tank than one that does not work, so there is that.

I have a 1939 dodge car my fuel gauge was not working I went to auto parts store don’t have any I have a friend he is a Mecanic and he don’t give me any answer and I search on Amazon and I found the whole set I purchase and fits perfect works great

It cost me more time to install it in my forklift just to find out after removing it and testing it to find out the gauge was bad right out of the box, then to top that off amazon wanted me to package it back up and take it to a ups store wasting more of my time for a 20.00 dollar part just to get a new one sent out. I told them to stick it where the sun don't shine threw it in the garbage and went to the auto parts store and purchased a good one. Long story short don't buy this cheep junk off AMAZON I will never again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good for the price but did not fit, I had to use old housing with new sending unit parts, grind down bracket to size, shorten length, reposition float , Made it work.You will experience this when restoring a 1952 car project, hard to find parts.

It works as expected

Arrived early, which is a big plus. After modifying this too fit a side mount tank, it works as expected. The design of this fuel gauge. allows some one with a mechanical ability to modify easily.
