So I'm struggling with this one. I bought this for a wine and cheese gift basket. The size is perfect - you can fit 1 or 2 bottles in there; and it works. Once you put the batteries on the bottom, you press a button and it lights up. The bucket looks great in the dark and works as advertised.What I didn't expect is how cheap it looks during the daytime. Ughh. It literally looks like my cheap wastepaper basket from Ikea. Since it does work, and I got it for the novelty of the LED lights, I plan to keep it. But I do wish it looked better in the daytime.

When it comes to having parties the one thing you need more than anything is ice. Not only do you need it out and available for drinks but what do you do when you want to chill a bottle of wine. This is a sturdy, large ice bucket that holds almost a full small bag of ice or 2 wine bottles. The sturdy plastic design makes it easy to clean and to use. The bucket is a fun design so it is also a conversation piece. I love the LED light up (blue) because it give more character to the bucket and to the ice itself as the light shines through it. This is a very cute accent to any table. It's not insulated so it will only chill drinks for a short amount of time. The ice melts super fast because it is not insulated. I was reading some reviews on this product that struck me. I have to agree that it does look like a trash can. I had the same thought when I first took it out of the box. The color also isn't nearly as vibrant as it looks in the pictures. It's cute but I would not have paid $29.00 for it.It doesn't seem too safe either. After using it with ice the bucket will start sweating. The battery compartment is located on the bottom and is not sealed so it seems that all the sweating from the bucket will seep into the battery compartment.DISCLAIMER: I received this item for free or at a discounted rate, in exchange from my unbiased review. Prettiest ice bucket ever!! I immediately put batteries in and turned it on and it was so awesome I had to go out and purchase some wine so I could have it filled with ice, add the wine bottle, and have it ready to show my husband when he got home. We can't wait to go camping and show this off at the RV Park!

This ice bucket would be nice for a bottle of wine at dinner or to keep drink cool at a small outdoor gathering. It takes 2 AA batteries and has a nice blue glow. The batteries don't have to be replaces too often, I had it on for a few hours and it was still just as bright. It would easily hold a bottle of wine or a 6-pack of beer or other drinks and still have enough room for ice.I used it at a family cook out and everyone thought it looked great, especially when it gets darker outside and you can really enjoy the soft glow. It probably wouldn't be very useful for larger gatherings or parties since it only holds a few drinks, but otherwise I really like it.I recieced this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review.

will hold 2 wine bottles or 6 beers: does not light up much, the photo shows a lot of color , you get a dim but nice blue

These buckets are great. So festive to use for ice but great to turn them on for decoration ad well. A very cool conversation piece as well. I love this!!
