I want it to soften a new Cambridge satchel. Is it effecitive as a softener?

Hi. I’m not sure it will soften the leather on your bag. It won’t do it any harm and will give it a protective coat. I think use is the main thing to soften leather. I’ve seen other products that claim to soften leather but have never used them. Sorry I can’t be more helpful

Hello, i used this polish on a mulberry hanbag, which is a tan colour and about 6 years old but had been used daily. The bag was looking scratched and the leather looked dry. It really made the bag so much better. Much improved. I have used it 3 times on the bag.
