Benjamin RC2508 Marauder/Armada .25-Caliber Auto-Indexing Pellet Magazine

This little techno-marvel by Benjamin/Crosman Corp is a sturdy, excellently made Marauder pellet clip system, made with the best tolerances for quick, sure action. When I received my new Marauder .25-Caliber Benjamin/Crosman rifle and saw that it was factory set for 3000-PSI (via a note of assurance from the builders of my rifle) I was jazzed, as I'd heard of Marauders being delivered with PSI-ranges of 2200 through 3000-PSI, so what a bonus to have one set up right from the get go, without having to go through any "mod" program to adjust the innards of the rifle's PCP system.It was soon after that I knew I had to have some extra 8-shot clips because at 3000-PSI I was getting in up to 35 *HP-quality* shots with Benjamin Domed/or Destroyer 27.8-grain pellets, doing break-in duty and serious target shooting at my local range (indoors). With 3 cartridges in the house I'd be home free in terms of shooting consecutive rounds. I ordered from The Perfect Aim Sports company, and at a price of $45 including expedited shipping I secured two magazines in just 3-short days, a nice effort by the Perfect Aim folks!The loading of the 8 pellets into the clip is a bit tricky at first, but if you follow the instructions sent in the kit for each one of the little wonders EXACTLY, you'll have it down in no time, as did I. The next time I went shooting I was able to get off more than 150 rounds of the 25-Caliber lightweight Benjamin pellets before I got tired of pumping the rifle up, and left for the afternoon. A tip: as long as you have the loaded cartridge indicator @ position #1,(as in "shot No.1") when you are done loading the pellets up, you have done it correctly.I really love the precision of these magazines, and they look soooo cool to have them next to your shooting tools at the range, ready to go into action at a moment's notice. Each one slides with a positive "Click" into the slot of the rifle breech, another great feature of the Marauder firing system. Next time I went shooting after my 3rd trip to the range, I took my wife along. When she wasn't shooting her Benjamin break-barrel .177-Caliber Nitro Piston rifle I got her to reload the cartridges for me, quickly no less, and I got in plenty of rounds that 4th time shooting the new Marauder rifle, more than 200 in fact, thus I was very pleased with the whole deal by then.These are 100% necessary for any Marauder owner, whatever caliber rifle or pistol you own in the series, and I highly recommend getting at least 2 extras for your shooting kit, especially on days at the range where you'll be pumping a substantial number of pellets through your rifle or pistol. Another aside, with 8 highly buffed and featured rounds inside of the clip, such as with the better grades of pellets from Crosman, Benjamin, RWS (the German maker, with only initials for their moniker), et al, one of the clips just looks so awesome and ready for action that you'll want even more of them as time goes along.Wavey Davey gives this unbelievabley KUHL 8-shot-clip from Benjamin/Crosman Corp 5 solid stars for perfection in performance, including convenience, rapid firing action, and those long and intense afternoons at the gun club or shooting range where you just plain need quantity of shots to make the day right!Wavey Davey - 7-1-2012

I gave 5 stars because the seller does not deserve the credit for such a BAD DESIGN. If you have this air rifle then you know you have no other options, but the rifle is awesome, the magazine is the worst design i have ever seen(No Exaggeration).

I'm using two of these magazines in my benjamin armada and they are working great! they are made out of plastic but that hasn't been a problem so far.

I got 2 for spares both were broken and never worked . I bought 2 I think on march 1st took my armada out yesterday for the first time(do to bad weather and work could not get out sooner) . the mag that came with the gun works great .both spare mags are defective and will not cycle.to order 2 and get 2 duds I think says a lot about the company that makes them .and buy the way the armada had problems as well(missing breach seal and way over tightened hammer spring) not at all happy with Crossman will most likely never buy a Crossman product ever again. I get the fact that the armada and the mags are not as high end guns as my fx crown .but when you by a product you expect it to work at least for a while before it brakes. but too by a gun {off of market place} and buy there spare mags {amazon}and all three items are bad out of the box dose not speak well of Crossman very disappointed.

Excellent magazine for the Marauder 25 cal. Loads easily, and is easy to insert into the Excellent Bejamin Marauder air rifle. I really like the gun because of many features and one of them is when the magazine is empty, the gun will not fire thus telling the shooter that another magazine is needed rather than letting the shooter dry fire off wasted gas.

UPDATE 9/10/2019 -- Easy to modify to fix problem. See vids on youtube. Basically need a 1.5 mm hex to disassemble, then a minor bend to the tension spring, reassemble, and it works like a champ.Like other 1-star raters, the magazine I received with the gun works great and seems durable, but both spares I've ordered have failed in first 5 loads. The tension spring retainer seems to be failing, and without the tension spring the magazines do not work. No issues with returns so far (handled quickly), but of course this is very disappointing and annoying and can ruin a shooting day. Two 8-shot mags gives 16 shots, about equal to one air tank refill. So can reload when recharging tank. Not sure what to do about this. Benjamin knows about it but does not seem to be rectifying.

Works so far. I bought it because it's always nice to have spare mags and the one that came with my gun has issues sometimes. The cylinder that rotates inside gets stuck sometimes but is an easy fix. I feel like they cost a little more than they should however because a ruger 10/22 rotary magazine is a few bucks less new. Overall no real complaints though.

Mag needs some adjustments to the spring but they all do so I'm told after that it's perfect
