My son has very dry skin that is also sensitive. He has had dandruff since he was a baby. He is now 18, and we have tried a plethora of dandruff shampoos including Rx shampoos. Although some helped, he always had some dandruff, and most left his hair either greasy or dull and lifeless. I saw this shampoo on Amazon, and decided to give it a try. I figured at least the mint would make his hair smell good. Well, not only does it smell great, it is also shiny, full and beautiful. Best part of all, for the first time in his life, he does not have dandruff. This shampoo has done what no other shampoo has ever done, and has also left his hair in the best condition it has ever been in. He is now wearing his hair longer (he always kept it short to help control the dandruff) and has reported the girls are constantly finding excuses to run their fingers through his hair. As his mother, that last "benefit" doesn't exactly thrill me, but I can understand how that would make an 18 year old boy happy! Anyway, I can only report what this shampoo has done for him, and as far as we are concerned it is a fantastic shampoo that I'm sure he will keep using!!!

I don't have dandruff or any other scalp issues. I also don't use conditioner, as my hair is naturally oil-balanced and healthy. I bought two 8 oz. bottles about a year ago. I retired from my traveling job, about 150 days a year in hotels, which let me snag little hotel shampoo bottles to meet my shampoo requirements at home. When I ran out of that supply, I actually had to buy shampoo. I got my first supply of K+S as a gift from my hair stylist wife. She has used it on her male clients with great feedback. Those two bottles supplied me for a year. It only takes a small dab to produce a rich, aromatic, invigorating lather. As I got to the end of the 2nd bottle I ordered some more. I'm 66 years old and in all my life I've never paid much attention to the shampoo I used. But this stuff is so good, refreshing, frugal and leaves my hair feeling healthier than it has ever been. It's an excellent product.

I had took my time to give a candid review about the product. Frankly , i should admit that i bought this product after seeing many positive reviews and its almost fair to give good reviews to this product. During my initial periods i faced some difficulty with this product giving sort of burning sensation to my face and ears , however i think i might have got used to it in the long run. So you are expected to feel some sort of sensation during the initial trials and it works good to remove the flakes and dust off your scalp. Now the hard part is the magic works only for max 3 days, after which you see those back in your scalp and there you go for the next round of usage.Its not going to permanently remove your flakes, and i have been using this for past 2 - 3 months and have not experienced a permanent move-out. Secondly it leaves your scalp very dry and hence ensure to use a conditioner or a moisturizing oil like the virgin coconut oil in tiny amount on your scalp and hair to maintain its health.

For those of you that are using the Paul Mitchell tea tree shampoo but still start scratching your head after a few hours, this is the solution! I don't often write reviews but this product was good enough for me to invest the time. Stats: Dry short to medium hair Minor case of dandruff Dry scalp leading to itching I have dry scalp and as a result, dandruff, scratching and loss of hair due to scratching. My bro in law recommended Paul Mitchell Tea Tree and yes it did help with the dandruff and that feeling that your hair is unclean (especially after a hardcore workout) but it also dried my scalp and within hours, i'd be back to scratching my head (probably because there may be drying chemicals in the shampoo or just a lot of tea tree oil in it) and see some dandruff as well. This one did very well in comparison, the smell isn't bad, not only did it clean and reduced scratching to a fraction and I don't see any dandruff. I shampoo about twice a week and I massage my hair with oil (organic argan or coconut oil) Good Luck!

I have been using this shampoo the past couple of days and I have a few things to say: -I have trouble using any shampoo without getting some form of dandruff, with this (although it isn't anti-dandruff) it comes out rather easier and no troubles have formed so far. -The mint - or peppermint (as I like to say) is definitely refreshing. I leave in my scalp for 1-2 minutes after its in to feel the cool feeling, and afterwards my scalp is refreshed. -The container is quite a sight itself, it sets itself away from anything else. As a conclusion, wish they made a bigger bottle for the shampoo because I will most likely be reordering. These's not many times I look forward to take a shower just to use shampoo, but thats the quality of the product. Thought it was worth mentioning that it had 3+ ounces when compared to a family members shampoo (believe it was Nuvea). An idea occurred to me as well, if a body wash were possible it would be a 1-2-3 punch with the shampoo, gel and body wash.

I have very fine straight hair and have to be careful about what shampoo I use. The one I had been using was not in stock, so I decided to give this a try. I wanted to hold off on giving a review until I had tried it for a week or two. First, I love the smell! I use about a dime sized amount and get a good lather. I feel like it takes all of the dirt and most of the oil out of my hair, but I doesn't leave it feeling parched. I have not been using conditioner so I could get a good feel for what this was doing to my hair. I suspect that I may use conditioner once a week, but I would rather have this than a shampoo that leaves my hair feeling greasy. This shampoo leave my hair feeling squeaky clean! My wife also loves the smell, like a good mint smell. Edit: After using this for a while, I am altering my review. I do feel like it is a little harsh for fine hair. My wife had to use it once and said the same thing. I don't think I'll buy it again since it seems to be drying out my hair.

Every time I use this shampoo, I feel as if I am getting a scalp massage. I lather and leave it on while I continue to shave and carry on with the rest of my shower. After about 30 seconds, my scalp begins to tingle. It feels great. It's as if my hair just drank a cup of coffee and is ready to begin the day. For the remainder of the day, my hair has never felt softer or looked healthier. This is the first review I've ever written in over 20 years as an Amazon member. So that should give you perspective on how pleased I am with this product. I've been on a quest for 10 years to find the perfect shampoo. The quest has literally been my "snow leopard." Now that my journey is complete, I hope to remain in a steady state of shampoo nirvana.

Great stuff, works well. I have crazy thick and fairly curly hair for a guy, and this stuff works great for me. If I wake up with decent curls, I can lightly work some in with the hair dry, and it'll hold them all day. If I wake up with hair a bit of a mess, I can partially wet it till I get it OK, then add it this to make it stay that way, curling up only a bit more than I had it. And on days I don't care to finesse it, I wet the hair down comepletely, and slick it back, adding a lot of product. It holds it back for most of the day, without it feeling plastic and rigid, and usually comes loose nightly by afternoon. Havent bought anything but this for almost a year now- never found anything better!
