Q: How do you get the screws out? I’ve tried using a screwdriver but it just keeps turning around in the hole.

It was hard. Had to hold the bottom while using the screwdriver on it. But it holds! Have used mine for 2 years and the grand kids go through it all the time. Still looks like new!

Q: Are the pages different colors or does each page have a theme on it

All pages are white- no themes are included.

Q: how do the photos adhere to the pages? Are they sticky back white pages?

The pages are not sticky. You can use a glue stick to adhere the photos to your pages or stickers (I use stickers and sticker borders to adhere my photos to the pages).
