I like that this product is inexpensive, that it is compact, and it is easy to use and works well for a while. After a few months of using it multiple times a day, it started malfunctioning. It would freeze even though the DVD was brand new, and one time the aspect ratio was weird. The last time it froze, it kept opening and closing the tray by itself even when turned off and wouldn't play anymore. I wrote to the email address on the DVD player for technical support and I got a response right away. They are sending me a new DVD player to replace the other one because it is still under warranty. I am very impressed by the customer service!

Works fine

On the second disc I put in, the picture scrolled and when I tried to eject the DVD, instead it became locked in a loop of load, read, and so on with no way to eject. I tried turning it off, waiting about 30 minutes then trying again with no luck. The product is on its way back to Amazon and I am waiting on a replacement.UPDATE: I received the replacement. It worked just long enough for my return period to expire. (Today is the 30th. Return period ended the 27th.) It has the same problem as before. One bad product I can understand but twice is a problem in the company. I would advise not to buy this product or any others made by this manufacturer. I feel both misled and cheated out of my money.

I believe this item will suit my purposes.My major problem is with the quality of the instruction booklet, which was poorly translated from Chinese to English, and the result is gibberish. I even wonder if it could have been written by an AI.I had to figure out on my own, without any help, how to zoom in and out, freeze the picture, go forward and backward, go from one scene to another or back to a previous scene, etc. Fortunately, it's fairly obvious.

Works well...use it in addition to Xbox because the Xbox has started having a problem reading movies

It played a DVD I got from Australia. Worked as advertised. 5 Stars.

We bought this dvd player back in December, it has been great expect now it will not open. We do not use it very often so I hate this is happening since it is fairly new.
