These are very handy!
These are 'extensions' so you get a panel-mount and a wire-wire version assembled on the length specified. It wasn't clear in the description, but you get what is in the picture, I ended up getting twice as many as I thought I was ordering, but I've managed to use consume them and have ordered more! The wire is copper (not copper plated iron/aluminum) and the conductors are centered in the insulation. There is a bit of overmold on the ends, but it does not impact mating and is easily removed. With a bit of electronics grade RTV the panel mount can be made relatively water proof and the covers are easily dust-tight and will keep you from accidentally shorting the connection. I've used these to add battery tender connections, extra batteries to small UPS chassis, connect LiFEPO4 batteries to my solar-charger. Just super handy. Make sure to respect the current limits of the conductor size used plus some margin. I try not to pull more than 10 amps. These are not anderson-type connectors, so if you need more than 10 amps you should use something else. The insulation is not an especially high-temperature grade, so it will melt before the connectors will--keep that in mind too. I would not use this unprotected outdoors, it is more of an out of the sun/weather type product. Think lab/garage/cab/office applications... I have hours of standby time for my router now that I've added a 100AH battery in parallel with the internal 6AH pack and I can swap my battery tender between various cars, trucks, lawn equipment over the winter too. I'm going to swap to this for a standard 12V plug for my larger projects instead of DC barrel jacks.

Battery charger quick connect.
The connector appears well made and will be used to connect a trickle charger to mowers tractors and other seasonal equipment.

I think it'a an outlet
I wanted to have a plug to put a charger on my truck battery. This could do the trick, but the wires are too short to get thru the grill (and IIRC the color-code is reversed to fit the charger to the right post. These look like they're nicely made, but not exactly what I needed this time. Keeping for the next project, whenever that comes along.

Fit the bill...
I used these to connect a battery charger connection on the side of my UTV, these along with the extensions let me put my battery on a trickle charger, without having to remove the side of the UTV.And when I do have to remove the side, the extension just disconnects. Very happy with it.

Using for a solar battery box
They fit the use case perfectly. Just what I needed to make a solar battery box.

Received the packages on time I used one of them. It was wired backwards for my use, but it will work out great in the future.

Wired backwards
Its backwards if you connect it to one coming iut of a charger.
