I brought this one to replace the original one that did not work and i sent back.This one work really well and the good thing about this one.It has a green light on the solar panel so you know its working.

Got this for my Toyota hybrid as battery kept going flat due to minimal use - I plug this to the fuse box connection(the provided positive clamp on jump terminal and negative to engine block) and for last 4 weeks the car has now had no issues and has maintained and charged 12v battery well. When I go to use the car I then use the cigar lighter connection (included) so that I’m still boosting battery while driving about - problem with this Toyota is the outlets in the car are switched off when the engine is off so hence bit of hassle using the fuse box under the bonnet but as I hardly use it it’s every couple of days and doesn’t take long and that’s the car’s fault not the solar panel - but it’s been great and green / red light to show the panel is connected and charging . I used the provided suction caps to attach to inside of windscreen and it’s sticks really well and hasn’t come off but easy to do so when needed - so very pleased with this

Super quality product. Using on our Motorhome when parked up. Trickle charges the vehicle battery. Works well, considering its been cloudy days too so far. Vehicle battery indicator in motorhome shows battery has charge going in. Well pleased with product.

I only do short journeys so my battery eventually let me down as it never got fully charged, now I use this charger and battery is always ready to go and it works in very low light too. Well worth the cost for the piece of mind.

Arrived quickly. Fairly easy to install although my Jaguar XF isolates the cigarette lighter when the car is locked from the outside, so had to wire into the battery, solar unit sits happily on rear parcel shelf.Quickly showed the green light to indicate charging even in dull weather. Will have to wait and see how effective it is. Plenty of cable to run from rear parcel shelf to battery in the boot

Our Hybrid Toyota suffered from a failing battery due to driving less than 5000 miles per annum. We were not told about this when the vehicle was purchased so had to call out the AA to get started on two occasions. It is apparently a known problem and we were recommended to buy a Solar Trickle charger. This unit is located on the dashboard inside the car to avoid thieves and shows the green charging light even in cloudy conditions. As we were thinking of changing the car it provided a very cheap solution to the Battery otherwise going flat. One point: our Yaris has no cigarette lighter so you will need to buy an OBD to Cigar lighter converter also available on Amazon.

Far from charging up my battery, it drained it. I had a near flat battery, and thought this would work but unfortunately it did the exact oppositeIt does at least look more sturdy than the Halfords ones, as well it's certainly easy to use, but sadly it isn't fit for purpose if it does the opposite of what it's meant to do
