My wife wanted a radio that didn't rely on batteries or mains power due to the recent news reports of power cuts. The sound is amazing considering the size. A really handy, solid little radio/light for emergency use. Radio reception is very good and loudspeaker works fine. Not high grade hi-fi but perfectly acceptable. A bonus having the solar charging as well as wind-up. The only reason that I've knocked off one star is that the knobs for tuning and volume may be a little difficult for some people. I had to use both thumbs to turn them. All in all though, I can highly recommend.

Really impressed with the quality of sound from the compact size. Without charging, playing it as soon as it arrived, I got 3 decent hours of play from it. Easily tuned, audio levels were great & clear.I feel assured it’ll be a great little addition to my camping accessories.

Radio quality is excellent and better than I expected. Torch is great too. Battery life is good.Absolutely it’s great value for money, well made good quality.Love the crank so easy to use to charge it and usb ports to charge your mobile phone too.

It works great and does take a long time to charge on solar power.

Was very pleased to start with but after a few weeks the wind up function barely lasts 5 minutes and the thing seems to be ticking on and off constantly!
