Very sticky
No problem sticking to metal lid or plastic bags. Held up nicely after pressure cooking at 15psi for 2 hrs twice already without issues.

Used to create air exchange in growing jars.
Okay yes, you can use micropore tape. BUT, these are much more convenient, in my humble opinion.1. My tape never tears even.2. Using these are much faster than tearing four pieces of tape for each jar lid.3. Placing one on the inside of a lid and one on the outside of the lid provides a double layer of protection. Can you do this with micropore tape? Yes, but it never tears evenly and is a pain in the butt.4. If you spawn to bulk in a container, instead of drilling several large oxygen exchange holes, you can drill several mini holes and cover them, inside and out, with these stickers. Doable, but again, a pain in the ass. Will set your grow back a minimum 2 weeks.Best to use these with an injectable port. Shoot liquid culture into sterile medium, let it grow, and when fully cultured, transfer to as many growth chambers as possible.5. ALWAYS do your own testing and research. What works for few may not work for the many.6. Recommend sites. Philly Golden Teacher, Rookie mycologist, 90 second mycology, and soooo many others if you'll do the research.

Just what I need.
Perfect for grain jars. Great stick ability. Even survive the preasure cooker.

these were ok
I thought these were ok. They survived the pressure cooker a few cycles so far. They can be removed with effort and this does not result in adhesive residue. Problem I ran into was, (long story short) they dont flow well. I used these in an airated LC jar design and they allowed pressure to slightly build up in the jar instead of flowing through the filter. Filter patches are becoming a mainstream mycology item but I think at some point they will need to come with 'flow under pressure' ratings to show they flow instead of acting like a solid barrier.

Holds up well
These filters hold up very well to pressure treating and I've had other brands attract mold and contamination but these consistently give me the results I'm looking for.
