Fit perfect on my Vortex spotting scope and allowed me to make an easy connection to my new Bog Deathgrip Sherpa Tripod.

I bought this quick release plate hoping it would fit my Vortex setup, but it turned out to be the wrong size. Vortex has several different plate sizes and they change depending on the tripod model and even the year it was made. It can get confusing if you do not double check every detail. The plate itself seems well made, but it simply did not match what I needed. I eventually found another plate that worked, though it was not an ideal fit and took a bit of trial and error. If you have an older tripod or one of the less common models, take a minute to look up the exact measurements before ordering. It will save you some frustration. Bottom line: Good quality plate, but the sizing varies a lot with Vortex gear. Make sure the measurements match your tripod before you buy.

Product appears to be expected vortex quality. Unfortunately, it does not fit standard Arca rail clamps. Tested with multiple vendor clamps.
