Coast® G23 120 Lumen Alkaline Dual Power Magnetic LED Penlight with C.O.B. Area Light

I keep this on my EDC backpack. Great for personal use when I need some xtra light & like the magnet to use it hands free. I use it at work when doing basic attic/basement/crawl inspections and around the house. Great light, highly recommend.

Bought this to attach to my phone molle holster for work. I work at a warehouse and have to sometimes change out machine parts or look under them. This is handy and bright enough to carry around for simple things. I can’t really speak to the true quality as I use it only a couple times a week for small amounts of time, but it works well for my purposes.

It works but the smaller one without the white & red LED light is brighter (415 vs 120 linens for this model). The LEDs are extremely bright they just do cover the distance the more powerful smaller and less expensive one can illuminate. The magnet works.

Very handy flashlight that I use daily at work. Just be aware that when the battery starts running low, the red-bar-light will not work properly until you replace/ recharge the batteries. Not sure if that's a "feature" or a nuisance, but it is something to keep in mind. Still an awesome little flashlight though. Would totally recommend.

In my field, a good flashlight is a must-have. This product looked great and up to the task of home inspections of HVAC/Plumbing, but after only a month and a half, it became defective and will not turn on anymore. For the first few weeks of ownership, this light especially shines with the side-mounted floodlight that really illuminates an area, but the main light lacks focus and is not all that bright. Red COB also went out pretty much a month after I got it. The clip-attached magnet is also pretty shoddily made, only being held on by a rubber sleeve, that with daily use, will quickly wear off and remove half the reason why I pretty much even bought the thing: to attach on a metal wall and flood the workspace.

I use this light all day, everyday and Carry it in my shirt pocket. I’m a overworked master tech, I’ve gone through many pocket lights. This is one of the best! It’s brighter than the Snap on pen lights. I like the side magnet, I can stick it to the frame, holds strong, and the side light is super bright, brighter than the tip light. The tip light is bright too. It switches smoothly from tip, to side white to side red by half push of the button. Fully depress for on/off. 2 AAA batteries seem to last about 2 weeks of constant use. I like it so much, I bought another one.

This flashlight has come in handy more times than I can count. I purchased it mainly for the flood light on the side and it's magnetic ability and it has not let me down. I can mount it to a network cabinet with the flood light shining on the back of a patch panel and actually see what I'm doing while doing punch downs for new drops. The regular pen light aspect works well too, however, I tend to use the side floodlight more.

This flashlight only seems to work when it wants to.When it does work the light is dim.The magnet is so weak it's useless.I usually love COAST lights but this one is a dud.Would recommend the Milwaukee inspection flashlight instead, but it lacks a magnet altogether.Still the Milwaukee version is brighter and the battery last longer.
