It stays up perfectly but I find after a few you have to adjust it. The gaiter can be folded up and a Kleenex or coffee can be inserted for extra protection against Covid-19. I held the gaiter under the cold water tap and snapped it 3 or 4 times and put it around my neck. The cooling part works really, really well. I’m impressed. I bought another one a couple days later.

My Gaiter came in good time. I love it. At first it was a bit tight around the the neck. After a couple washes it seems to loosen up a bit.
