The long-awaited release of "Phone Sex" by Blood Diamonds (aka Mike Diamond), featuring Claire Boucher (aka Grimes). Here s how Blood Diamonds explains how the song came about: "We wanted to do a big pop song and wrote it in my bedroom in a night. I played the track later that week at a Blood Diamonds show with Claire as the secret guest. It was ridiculous. We wore LED glasses and projected the PS2 game "Rez" onto a mise-en-scène of "Twin Peaks, " whilst performing on a slippery stage due to the opening act (ice skaters on fake ice dancing to a David Lynch cover orchestra). Later that month, I reproduced "Phone Sex" with halo drums and we re-wrote the lyrics together. When Claire came over to work on those, I didn t have my phone on me and she slept on my complex s porch for half an hour, I still feel bad about it. The song was mixed down in Kansas City on a board which was also used on Thriller (mostly did this for laughs). "

Beautiful and upbeat
Loved the cover art on the record and the music sounds happy and energetic. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about the remixes so I looked them up on YouTube and loved them. I recomend this record if you're a grimes fan it's a great addition to my collection. If you're new to grimes i recommend listening to it on youtube first although i know you'll love her.

Electronic Love
This is a really unique and short collection of songs that make you feel like you're in love with a robot. Pretty freakin' good.

What a Great EP!
I've always been a big fan of Skrillex so when I saw that he signed this guy name Blood Diamonds I had to check it out. I'm glad I did because I now have a new favorite artist! This album is short but VERY sweet! My favorite song on here is "Ritual". It's such a chill track that'll have you pushing repeat over and over again on your iPod. The future is looking bright for Mr. Diamonds. I suggest you grab this album...you'll be glad you did.
