Stops working after less than a year
When I first purchased this thermometer I loved it so much that I ordered 2 more. One to leave at my mom’s house and a backup for home. Now they’re just junk. They no longer record a fever correctly. It always states too low. My 2 year old felt super warm when she woke up, took her temp, it was all over the place. 96.5 , 97, 98.1…Ok…maybe we’re just warm from waking up. I took it multiple times switching between ear and forehead. Always between 96-98. Get her dressed go to drop her off at daycare and getting out of the car she was on fire. So I used their thermometer…102.7!! Straight to the ER where it was recorded on theirs at 103.8. This was a few months ago. It has never worked since. And now the others I ordered no longer work. My youngest has a condition that when she’s about to have a metabolic episode it always starts with a low grade fever 99.5 and starts to creep up. I NEED a reliable thermometer that accurately takes her temperature so I can stay on top of her condition. This is NOT it.

The BEST thermometer!
I love this thermometer and how it can take an ear temperature or forehead temperature! It always seems accurate and I like that it has a different sound and changes color on the screen when a fever is detected!

love it
i love that this thermometer takes room temp as well as baby temp! do beware, the most accurate way to take baby temp is still rectal so only use this as a first line and do rectal to verify!

Versatile and Convenient Temperature Checking
I found this thermometer to be incredibly useful and versatile. The three different modes allowed me to choose the most appropriate method based on the situation and the child's cooperation level. The forehead mode was particularly handy for quick checks without disturbing a sleeping child, while the ear mode provided accurate readings for my older kids. The touchless mode came in handy during cold and flu season, minimizing contact and potential germ spread. The silent mode and backlit display were lifesavers for nighttime temperature checks, allowing me to monitor fever without waking my little one.Accuracy seemed consistent across modes, aligning well with our traditional thermometer readings. The 1-second reading time was a significant improvement over older thermometers, making it much easier to check temperatures on squirmy toddlers. One minor drawback is that the touchless mode requires a steady hand to ensure accuracy, which can be challenging with very young or uncooperative children.

Love it
I really like this thermometer, how versatile it is and how it can be used touch free or in the ear, I got this for my upcoming 4th child and am excited to use it. Will update once ive used it more.
