Great growing mix!!
I used this for seedlings planted into self-watering planters, as well as for seed-starting for several varieties of annual & perennial flowers, all with good results. I'm sure the slow-release fertilizer in here helped. This mix stayed nicely moist in the containers, probably because of the wetting agent, and seedlings grew nicely and are tolerating transition from inside to outside well. The mix was also fine enough for seed-starting (although there were a couple pieces of small stones and tiny twigs per bag), and I was surprised at how high the germination rates were. The mix is a deep, rich brown color (75-85% Canadian peat moss per the label) with just enough perlite added to keep it nicely loose. Just watch the price on Amazon -- I have kept this in my cart because I would like to buy more & the price has increased a lot over the past year, so it may be less expensive to buy locally (although it's so convenient to have heavy growing mix delivered to your front door). According to the label, this is appropriate for container and in-ground gardening, and inside pots, but not hanging baskets; Sunshine recommends their container mix for that. Product of Canada

Great Stuff!
Was well mixed and drains perfect! The perlite to peat is a great ratio for my uses. I will be buying more for sure!
