Works great on gas poly so far.

We order this heater kit thinking it was a good item and at good price. When it arrived is looked good, but after taking time to install one of the heater dies on the heater we found the thread system used is poor and all the threads were stripped. Without the ability to tighten the dies down to the heater head the tool is useless. This item looks good but the design is failed due to a proper attachment of the dies to the heater head. Don't waste your time or money. Also as a side note to return the item I have to pay $75.00 to ship the tool kit back to CANADA from the US. It one thing to pay to ship something back but to have to pay for international shipping of a defective item? Not Good. Don't use this seller if you are in the USA.

So use these machine for PE underground gas pipe wish outside diameter is 1.05 in and not work for it olso the clams to hold the pipe not hold the pipe is to big check it before or go to you local pipe suply and order from them is easier to return if not work for you other wise you have to pay restacking fee with these seller

I bought this to do gas line fusions and it works great. We are a underground utility contractor and use it often. The only issue is that the digital temp read out is not accurate. But for us it’s ok bc we use a thermometer to verify our iron temps. Other than that it works great!
