does the cloud stinger core wireless work with xbox one?

Wireless ones do not, but all WIRED cloud Stinger (and HyperX headsets in general) DO work on the Xbox family of consoles since they just plug into the controller's 3.5 mm headset jack

Can I use this for work purposes, I use Skype and answer calls for work

Yes and no. Yes because it will work as a headset. But no if you have any great lengths of time between calls. There is an undocumented auto shut off timer when no audio is received or transmitted. Therefore a call comes in but you do not know because the headphones turned off.
