Good flexible wire, used it to build a 1:1 balun.

This is a high quality product & silicone coated is usually very expensive so I was dubious. It turned out to be excellent, well packaged on nice reel & box you can make into a dispenser with a few cuts. I tested it on high temperature - no problem at 200C. Usedit on soldered application agin not shrink back. Its good stuff. I also used it to re-wire 10 hanging rod pendant light fixtures & it was just perfect. Recommend it.

Would buy every time

my mistake so I didn't dock any stars for this, but I bought it assuming that the two wires would be bonded together. I see now that the listing says "separate wires" but the photo showing two wires on the same spool is somewhat deceptive. this really isn't a deal breaker for my application anyway. what I did however dock a star for is that unspooling two separate wires intertwined together like this is extremely annoying. it's remarkably fiddly and would be outright useless if you needed the wires to be even slightly different lengths. I'd like to see it sold as two separate spools rather than a single intertwined spool, or failing that a single spool with a cardboard spacer between them. any other configuration would've been less annoying.

Love it! The price was right. It actually seems to have wire that is at least 18 ga, not just a lot of insulation. It's very flexible and well stranded. Solders well. Insulation appears to be heat resistant as claimed. I use it for all kinds of projects.

Very flexible insulation that is still tough. I've used this on several small electrical projects.

These are not bonded together but I just gave them a twist and it works fine.

Good test lead wire, just wish i would have went with the larger 16 gauge size. Silicone insulated wire is the only way to go when making test leads and this wire has it and is very flexible.
