A high-quality and entertaining game that I would definitely recommend for preschoolers
Hasbro Gaming Boggle Junior is a fantastic introduction to letters and word recognition for preschoolers! I purchased this Amazon Exclusive edition for my little one, and it’s been both educational and fun. The game is designed for ages 3 and up, making it perfect for early learners to start recognizing letters, forming simple words, and boosting confidence with language. The game pieces are colorful, durable, and easy for small hands to manipulate. The setup is simple, and the game comes with clear instructions for different skill levels, so it can grow with your child’s abilities. My child especially enjoys finding letters and forming words on the grid, and it keeps them engaged without feeling like a lesson. It’s a wonderful combination of learning and play, and a great way to encourage problem-solving, concentration, and literacy skills in a screen-free way.

Great Preschool Learning Game
I got this for my son when he was learning his letters and how to spell. It was a fun and interactive way for him to try and spell the words using the pictures and then see if he was correct. This allowed him to play on his own at times or with his older sister. When he struggled with the word he could put it in the front of the tray and just practice matching the letters to spell the word.

We love it
We as parents need to quit handing things to our children and telling them that hard work isn't worth it or telling them the easiest route is the best route!! It does take time to find the letters, but I don't see this as a bad thing. I think it helps them with skill building techniques and patience. My daughter will get a little frustrated with finding letters but at the end of the day she will have to learn to control frustration and push towards her education. She is strong. There isn't a single thing she cannot do. She does love to learn, she gets so excited when she builds the word and then reads and spells it out loud. She worked hard to find the letters, she feels accomplished and proud of herself for taking the time to sit down and finish her tasks...

Great for average 4 or 5 year olds.
We homeschool a 6 year old son, 4 year old daughter, and have a 3 year old son, and a 1 year old son, and due later this year with our 5th. We tried playing this game right before dinner, so things were a bit hectic, but we were excited to try it out. Short review: if your child knows the entire alphabet by sight and can match, they can play the first part of the game. They need to know AT LEAST the first sounds of each letter before they can play the second part. Long review: Our 6 year old didn't want to even try to first part of the game, where you can see the letters. He knows all of the letters of the alphabet by sight and knows all of the basic (or first of the) letter sounds. He was getting the 3 letter words correct very easily, so I tried switching to the 4 letter word side, and he struggled with some (like "bear") but got some others (like "frog"). Our 4 year old knows all of the letters by sight, very few sounds, and did perfectly with the matching part of the game with the 3 letter side. I'm sure she'd do great with matching the 4 letter side. Our 3 year old knows no letters by sight or sound yet, but he's a brand new 3, and very slightly speech delayed (I'd just say he's a late talker). He also argues with us on what is what (circles are not circles, for example), so we just gave him the 3 letters to make "cow", and he just tried to match it the best he could. I do wish there was another "level" of Boggle (in between Jr and the original). My 6 year old is going to blow through this game and be bored in a few months. My 4 year old will love it every once in a while, and it'll be great for the other kiddos later on, so not a bad purchase. Very pleased with it. Not a 5 star item, but I would purchase it again.

Great game for pre-readers
Great game for pre-readers! My youngest is 4, and learning each letters sounds. This is a great game that allows them to see a picture, identify it, sounds it out, and ultimately break those sounds down into letters and spell it out by rolling dice to find the correct letter. My little one loves this game. His older brother, who is 6, enjoys it too. He likes to roll the dice just to see what word he can spell with all the letters he rolled, lol. There are many creative ways to play this game or use the dice and get creative to play more advanced games for older kids grades K-2. I highly recommend purchasing for kids learning their alphabet, letter sounds and sight words.

Helps learn letters/spelling
I got this as a Christmas gift for my nephew and played with him for about an hour. It was amazing how quickly he was improving with his letters/spelling during that time. I’d highly recommend this for any kid who needs a fun way to learn letters/spelling. I added a little challenge that everyday he needs to work on how many of the words he can spell in 20 minutes, slowly building up, and when he can spell all the words in the deck in 20 minutes I’ll get him a special present. So far it’s really helped to keep him practicing everyday!

Very good game
This game exceeded my expectations. Very easy to play, learn and have fun. Good idea for a small gift. Pictures are colorful and nice but also easy to guess ( sometimes I see pics that are hard to guess even for adults). Words are easy and short, perfect for beginning. Quality is also very good. I first bought one as a Christmas gift but ended buying 3 more , one for my 3yo. I do recommend

I really really wish I got this for kids when they were 3 but it is still a great purchase for my family. My 5 year old loves to play with this. I have made my own sight word cards as well and included them in the bunch so my girl can pick up on the dolche sight words too. Would recommend this for advanced 2 year olds and up.
