What's the difference between the 11901 and the 11995 (besides the price)?

Would this be good to check accuracy of other levels? Since it is basically a vial, you could just set on top of another level and see if vials match?

No. It's much too short. Nor would I use this to do anything else besides get an approximation of level. Being a Stabila, I would trust it to be accurate for a very small level. The simplest method for checking a level's accuracy is by setting it on a flat surface, then rotating it 180° and noting if the bubble position changed. If it's the same either way, you're good.

Why does the picture say V2 and the one I got doesn’t and didn’t come in the original manufacturer packaging?

Best guess is you received an older returned item.

Why does the manufactures say aluminum construction and when i received it, it was plastic?? I got a fake knock off from here

Mine is Alu with plastic seat for bubble portion.
