Excellent product.
I bought the S/M size because I wear medium shirts, in the beginning I thought I made a mistake because it looks very small, I tried it and it was very very tight. Anyway the first time I used it on a game I was very happy because after some minutes I just forgot I was wearing it. I remembered that I was wearing it at the first hit I receive in the chest, the paintball didn't hurt at all and it bounced, so I was still in the game :).It doesn't have any padding in the lower back, wich is very good because it doesn't interfere with your harness. It is good that it fits so tight to your body because you can use your jersey or a anything over it.

Nice padding
Although I feel like I'm putting on a scuba diving suit with this it does have nice amount of padding in key areas, I have not used it for playing yet and not sure if I will unless we get limited to layers of clothing for some event . I wear a L shirt and got xl of this. It fits pretty tight, not sure if I'd fit into a L without being way too tight. Honestly think it will be better after broken in a bit

Could be better
Ok so these do run small, I’m 6ft and 160 so pretty thin and the xxl is too tight on the arm pit inseams it’s annoying Instantly so I’ll be cutting those out. Other than the arm pit thing it is comfortable. There is a lot of padding on the side while the padding on the front and areas is less thick and has less coverage. I think this is because pros wear a padded Jersey so it needs less in the front. If you are looking to be armored from the sting then most of the other brands are thicker and bulkier and so do the job of protection better. If you want some thing that is light and mostly won’t even be visible or obtrusive when playing this is the one. There is a chance of a bounce and the sides and back have plenty of padding so it’s so you don’t get a bad bunker in speed ball and your back gets bruised vs the other brands , other the PE , the rest focus on front padding and are thick enough to prevent pain. That said after I mod the arm pit area I’m sure it will be comfortable and it’s better than nothing. If you are buying for kids or new players that you don’t want bruised go with the cheaper brands , if you want just the min protection and value lightness for competing in speed ball play this dye product works. I play rec ball and usually wear a long sleeve t shirt or hoody so this is a step up for me and I’ll be using it. I think this does provide more padding than the PE which is even lighter but it’s nearly no protection so this dye is more middle of the pack all round but near the light side vs bulky side of the padded products in the market. If you are thick or lift then you will need to cut the arm pits for sure like me , and if you are like 200 or more the xxl probably will be too small. If your big then the PE has huge sizes and exalt, mad dog, TP have options. This is for thinner dudes from 6 ft or less down. The length is excessive so you can tuck it into the slide shorts and not an indication of how tall a person can be and fit into this thing. Overall it’s dye so it’s quality and once modded will be comfortable. To take it off pretend you’re in a hockey fight and pull it down off both of your arms and pull from the center of your back off. Trying to take of off normally lie you would a shirt difficult to the point it’s will be comical for others to say the least.

Too small, sizing is wrong.
I read the reviews about this shirt running small and to get one a size larger than what I normally wear so I got a L/XL. I wear a medium size t-shirt and have a 40" chest and I could barely put this thing on. I had to my someone help me pull it off. If it wasn't for them I'd probably still be wearing this thing. I used the DYE sizing chart which wasn't very accurate. I'm sure this shirt is very comfortable and effective if it fits you, but you probably have to buy at least 2 sizes up from your shirt size. I tried returning this because of the faulty sizing and they wouldn't cover my return fee. If you buy it, make sure you know it will fit.

More bounces less damage
Works great, runs a little small. Helps get more bounces and less bruises

the shoulders were still super tight, it rips your arm pits up
I bought this in medium size and found it was too small across the shoulders by far. I let a kid have it when i went paint-balling shortly after receiving this. I ordered the large size thinking that maby they just run a little small overall. i was so wrong, the shoulders were still super tight, it rips your arm pits up. and for me in the large size it no longer fit well over my torso. I should mention that these are almost impossible to get off by yourself... so pray you have someone nice enough to help you

XXL is like a Large in american sizes
I ordered the L/XL shirt originally. I am 5'9" - 175lbs. The top was very small. I almost tore the shirt attempting to take off. I returned and ordered the XXL. The XXL is still smaller than I'd want and doesn't come in a larger size. I have mobility and a full range of motion so I didn't return it. I will wear this under a large button up. I usually wear large plaid button ups while paintballing. Sounds dumb but looks cool. The padding covers all areas I usually bruise. Provides protection from all shots beyond 3'. If you're bunkered, just brace yourself.
